The New 7 Wonders of the World
The human species has long sought the wonders of the world. Dating as far back as the 5th Century BC, Hellenic sightseers referenced lists made by Greek historians Herodotus and Callimachus of Cyrene. Such lists marked the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World,” which were:

The Creation of the New Seven Wonders
In 2000, a Swiss company launched a campaign named “The New 7 Wonders of the World.” This initiative garnered over 100 million votes worldwide. It sought to name seven modern wonders that continue to stand and grant access to tourists from around the globe.
