“A student can be disqualified from accessing loan if:

Nice compilation. I support this.

FG should add and forbid students involved in cyberbullying , internet fraud and failure to meet minimum of 3.0 CGPA and in not more than two consecutive sessions.

No Federal university which admits mediocre students like university of Calabar, UNICAL,does in its business of admitting failed JAMB candidates with 140 out of 400, should be placed on the scheme to avoid the kind of massive failure being reported in UNICAL because of its culture of admitting mediocre JAMB candidates.

Nigerian taxpayers money should be for only serious Nigerian students and not be spent on unrepentant chronic lazy, idle, mediocre , unpatriotic, cyberbullies and criminal defamers. Check my signature for free stuffs!

You think say na scholarship? This is a loan bro. It will be paid back.

This won’t work because their is not national data base to identify anyone listed in those categories.

You sure? Some of those loan apps were coordinating with credit rating companies. That was why then if you were owing in one app and wanted to get from another it will reject.
Carbon even had rating companies in their app.
Nigerians that think they are smart, it is now you will see lots of people disqualified because of loans apps money they refused to pay.

Oga, it is loan and not a grant. It will be paid back likely with interest and not free.
It is not a favor.

Point of correction, a scholarship is different to a loan. In scholarship, your required pay back with only your grades; whereas, in loan, you pay back the money lent to you even if you're the over all best in the whole state.

These your free stuffs, how many of your family members are benefitting from it?
Are you minding the charlatan?
What are the free stuff sef? Have you checked. He claims business ideas etc. Does he sound like someone that has done any business in his existence other than paid propaganda? He reminds me of that Manna guy that claims bbq joint. Yet you ask for the address so you can come patronize him, that is the last you hear from him..

when will all this foolishness end

what type of mockery is all this ?

are Nigerians this weak and gullible ?

instead of granting student loans

why not channel the money to allowing

student eat free meals in cafetaria or eat

heavily subsidized meals like if a meal is

supposed to be N1,000 the the student

beneficiary will pay N100 with your school

IF card scanned at the entry to the cafetaria?

then have the school fees slashed by 50%

why must if he cash money disbursed to

people who we can not account for ?

Now they will create ghost students and claim

they gave them loans and that will be a

conduit pipe to steal billions again ….

I can see Keyamo manufacturing 2 million

ghost names in 24 hours and that will siphon

20 Trillion in 4 years … which is $25 Billion.

And they will share this money amongs

themselves ….

Lastly instead of creating more jobless graduates - why not create skill acquisition
centers to allow people learn life skills they can use hitting the ground running to make money for themselves than depending on the government for employment with their worthless academic degrees ?

my God what is wrong with Nigeria ?

That is where inconsistencies come in. If you are giving such educational loans, remove bottle necks from it. It is a loan not grant. Let it be handled by professional banks if possible. It should be the right of every youth of certain age.
If you know how naija works, you will see all these "does" and "don'ts" are just there as a mine field to sabotage and disqualify most of the intended beneficiaries. They have made political promise to give loans, they will then use technicality to disqualify most students.

.

You'd be surprised what shit springs up in your final year.

Let me tell you how this works, they will graduate, but they will begin to pay as soon as they start working.
The banks in charge of their salary account will immediately begin the appropriation.
Those who schooled on loans in developed countries, are yet to pay 20 something years after graduation.
We don't want such nonsense in Nigeria, if such is allowed here, the system will collapse.
I knew three guys who got funded by a small church, they graduated and got good jobs through the same church.
The three of them quietly relocate to another church and till tomorrow, they never looked back.
The money used in financing their education is people's money, and na this kind people dey call others thieves.

Loans should not be given to people of questionable character.
Even online loan apps are turning down some applicants who are defaulters.
Imagine youths fleeing on seeing people wearing palmpay clothes.

O P,so you brought into Nairaland the topic done or seen by others, mostly and you quickly dissected it for them to follow your directions of -always going against anything President Tinubu does, all the time since the inception of this Administration!
To you ' Racoon ' nothing is good in what they are doing yet,you have failed woefully ,to tell us or give Nigerians the Options to follow but just to criticize now and then, you are a big problem!
Of Course, your right to say,as enshrined in the Constitution, even the Devil have followers ,since the Social Media is for the gaulibles,so people like- me not surprised. But your actions is very Unpatriotic,if your motives is just to draw traffic, then too pathetic!

The Igbos and obidots are delusional set of people.
A tribe known worldwide for drugs trafficking and they are languishing in prisons all over the world, but they would rather paint a man who has never been convicted by any court for any offence.
