Please, I did upfront medicals a week before I submitted my application and I was told it'll be sent to ircc in 10 working days. Yesterday was the 10th day and I just checked the portal, but there's no status update on my medical on it. Please how should I go about this?

It does not work like, your results will be sent to IRCC, who will review it and then update your portal. No one knows how quick or fast they will review it, just be patient and hopeful.

You can raise a webform or put a call to IRCC, your PPR is likely to drop.

Hello. I’m new to the Canadian application process, and I need some pointers.

One, how much is the proof of funds supposed to show for living expenses?

Two, before applying for a visa, how much of the school fees does one need to have paid? It’s a one-year master’s program, and the tuition is about $7,000 CAD.

Three, are there certain kind of universities that reduce one’s chances of getting a visa?

I hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks.

Hi all,

I wanted to confirm something that my friend just brought to my attention.

I applied for Visitor visa for Spouse and since his passport is 10 years, I was expecting them to give him 10 years and 5 years each for our two kids.

But we were all given 2 years which is the duration of the two year Diploma program.

Is it normal? Or there is an error that we need to contact IRCC about

The validity of any visa given is at the discretion of the VO, you can always renew the visa if it is expiring. No cause for alarm really.

Open a USD domiciliary account in your Bank in Nigeria and let him send the USD straight to the account, do not receive Naira, cos you cannot use Naira to open GIC. After you have received the USD, you can then use it open GIC.

$20,635 for a single applicant for one year.

You are expected to have at least 1 year tuition before you apply.

However, which school are you going to that is running a master's programme for 7,000 CAD a year?

Open a domiciliary account in any Nigerian bank
Tell your friend to send you the money to your domiciliary account
Send the money from the dom account to your GIC account

If you want to do extra photocopy inside the building, you 'd pay with your card not cash
If you take a bag there, to safe keep it, you 'd pay with your card and you must safekeep it because they don't allow bag in the building

Hi House,
Copied from IRCC website:

"You must use two-factor authentication if you’re signing in to your account with GCKey only. It isn’t required if you’re using the Sign-In Partner option.

These IRCC accounts require two-factor authentication for GCKey:"

My situation is that, I am having problem with authenticator because I lost recovery codes of the Microsoft authenticator.

My question is that, is it possible to use the same email to sign in into my account without GCkey?

I hope my question is clear. Thanks guys
