I used my original employment letter from 2024. I have used a current letter from employer stating I am currently employed for my UK application. It depends what you have access to and which states current pay, hours, tenure, etc. Does the original still apply to your work conditions? Itiswell2334: |

Thank God I did this. At first, I only wrote my first name and later went back to add my middle where necessary. DTravel: 1 Like |

Hello House, I am in sort of a Dilemma. I currently have 3 years experience in IT ranging from Frontend development, Technical Support and System Administrator. I also have a Bsc in Biochemistry, I have 2 dependants as well (wife and kid). Majorly, I had always wanted to study an IT related course in Canada but it has been difficult finding a masters course in IT of 16 months that can make me move with my family. Found one at Carleton University but i was denied admission, it made me settle for a course in Management in Healthcare at Trent University and I got admitted. Now I am not happy about it as the reviews i have been seeing online about it not been lucrative and also this is like a setback for my career. What should i do? Should I apply for study visa and find my path back to IT after school or just keep applying elsewhere, I am fed up I have spent money on the school, sent them transcript and want to deposit tuition soon. I need advise, tired and fed up of the whole thing. |

Realsabiguy1:The rules says the person can continue working with conditions given to prior work permit until a decision is made on the application, even after the date given on work permit extension has elapsed, some employers may not know this.. |

Zyzman:if you plan to move with ur family, apply with PR in mind, start with a program that gives PGWP.. If the conservatives wins the next election, it'll be game over for immigrants 2 Likes |

dzionyte: It is not that easy, the fact remains that Canada needs the population, present realities have also shown them that they need to start expanding their population growth, agreed that new policies introduced are slowing the tide, however, once the tide has been steadied, they will start growing back up by increasing the immigrants' intake. 2 Likes |

Realsabiguy1: Is your program a masters program or any of these programs that are eligible for OAPs since the change of the policy? If no, was the application submitted after the change of the policy last year? If yes, then you will need serious prayers because alot of renewal of SOWPs for ppl in this category i mentioned above have had their SOWP applications rejected apparently due to them not being eligible. |

Hello everyone. I have question. I want to apply for MAY intake. 8months program. 1. I want to register my business name with CAC this month. Would it raise suspicion if I add it on my visa application Considering date of registration which would be less than a year. I have always worked for myself and get about 2m monthly in profit. I'm into buying and selling business, sometimes importing. 2. Ill be 30 next year,I want to study business related courses in MAY,maybe switch to tech and I don't have previous school attended except Sec school over 13 years ago. 3. I have a good background knowledge in web development. Should I add to it, while applying? 4. Which link to home ties can I get done to make my visa acceptance rate high? 5. Not married. I'll appreciate a response. |

Sure, getting CAC done now would raise an eyebrow but that wouldn't stop you from getting it, but you would have to double your effort in convincing the VO that your business has been operational for many years. Stick to business related course since you are already in business and argue your case that the business program will be instrumental in strategically positioning your business and moving it to the next level. Canada don't do interviews, so your SOP is where you explain your case and convince the VO , while backing up your claims with relevant documents. Good luck sir! Grfront: |

amila20042001: The person has to be mindful of the course they are going for, business courses are no longer eligible for PGWP except they are related to Agriculture field. |

Travel experts in the house. Please, i need your advise on how to go about this. My study permit application was rejected based on the stated reasons in the GCMS note. 1. No proof of Businesss Financial Establishment. ( I submitted CAC certificate) 2. Further evidence of Land Ownership. (i submitted court affidavit of land ownership) How do i proof my business Financial establishment? What other documents can i provide for Land ownership? Thank you.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amila20042001: 11:57am On Mar 08 |
As you can see, the VO reiterated the fact that you just registered your business (JAN 2024), that alone was suspicious, because the VO would ordinarily suspect that you registered a business solely for the purpose of your visa application. Apart from the CAC you uploaded, are there any other documents you uploaded to authenticate your business? josephvictor78: 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Bobomaigida: 12:34pm On Mar 08 |
josephvictor78: Sorry for the refusal. Business certificate only shows the ownership, it does not show the financial dealings of the business, which is also required by the VO, like Amila said you need to show the business generated the funds and what % of the funds are being applied to your education. Whilst on the surface a court affidavit would have been enough to prove the land ownership, the VOs are at liberty to accept or reject it. The other documents you can show for the land sale will be historical ownership documents showing how it came to your possession, you might want to explain this in your SOP so that the VO understands it fully. |

i uploaded the certificate and the compnay registration form.... Although, the fund was originally from land sales. I only use my company invoice to show the payment, now i had to show company ownership.. From your advice, i think a detailed explantion on how the fund came through the comapanies invoice would do. and for the land ownership thing, i am thinking of getting the DEED OF TRANSFER or CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. amila20042001: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 1:45pm On Mar 10 |
You submitted a registered business without a tax clearance certificate, business statement of account, or invoice. You showed a land deed from the original owner to you, but failed to show the deed of sale from you to the new owner. Indeed it was poorly documented. josephvictor78: 1 Like |
