Religion is not a state affair. By standard and norms of a democratic society, every form of religion is personal. Asking a state to step in voluntarily and moderate your personal (religion) sentiment against a fellow citizen is the heights of stupidity that no intelligent or learned person should commit. You should know already that there are established democratic processes involved in calling out a foul in any democratically run system. And that involves going to court or approaching authorities involved in fair hearing and social moderation.
