Miracle Igbokwe won the BBNaija Season 3 in 2018, Laycon emerged as the winner of Season 5 in 2020, and Whitemoney claimed the victory in Season 6 in 2021. In contrast, the runner-ups in those seasons were women: Cee C, Dorathy Bachor, and Liquorose, respectively.

Angel argued that the women contestants brought more drama and impressive outfits to the show, and in her opinion, they should have been the rightful winners.
