A friend called me to lament after buying a "full tank" at N60,000 which is roughly 100 litres in his SUV. I explained to him that in the past he would have paid 20,000 and the Govt would have paid the difference of 40,000.

He does this 3 times a month which means the govt gives him a 120k fuel voucher monthly to maintain his SUV lifestyle ( he has another car ) in a country where the minimum wage is N30,000 per month. That's 4 times the minimum wage paid to my rich friend monthly and N1.4m per year.

Imagine someone like dino with a lot of SUV lifestyle.
