This National Assembly screening of ministerial nominees is just a text-book exercise. There's arguably never been a disqualification of a nominee for as long as I can remember, and there isn't likely to be now.

The nominees may as well just move into their respective offices once the Presidency confirms their nominations to Nigerians. This exercise has always been a total futility.

There was one in 2011 I think. One Dr. Obadiah from Taraba state. The three senators from his state ganged up against him and other senators supported them.

Engaging him in same vain gives him that room for more of his bigotry but ignoring him at this point makes him wallow in his follies. You should lead by making this forum sane again....this forum is disgusting, full of hate. What’s the obsession of the opposition and majorly people from the south east with Rivers state affairs? In 2015, you made a lot of noise about Rotimi Amaechi and why he must be screened out. Still, common sense prevailed and he served gloriously as a minister for almost 8 years.

We are now in 2023 and you’ve all moved to making noise about Wike and shouting that he should not be confirmed. Do you have the numbers to stop him? Why should one of the best performing governors in the last 8 years he screened out? Is it by force to support Peter Obi Pandora the loser? Must every Rivers state governor support whoever you guys are to supporting?

Wike will be screened and confirmed. He will serve as a federal minister for 4 years and move the entire PDP structure in Rivers state to APC. Even if you cry from now till the next 30 years, APC will still win Rivers State again in 2027.

See?

Apparently his disqualification was hinged more on political vendetta than any other legit reason.

U want to be thorough in screening the nominees? I support abaribe cus the Senate president has a corruption case hanging on his neck but he's Senate president. Majority of the senators hv one corruption case or the other hanging on their neck and performed abysmally when they were either governors or during their previous tenures as senators. They should push everybody over joor.

Any correlation between this answer and my question?
Are you equally directing your anger and admonition to me for not supporting your urinating machine and drug baron Tifnubu?

Assumption is the mother of all fork ups..

Has he ever denied that he is from SE?

Or do you need a soothsayer to confirm that to you again?
