How is starvation a war crime for a warring party?

It can only be a crime for a neutral party to use starvation. War in a country like Nigeria will have everyone for himself.

No law requires you to feed your enemies during war.

I don't know the full story of Charles Taylor but a Liberian told me that they were feeding humans to lions during the war. Serbian leader had a genocides attached to him. In Nigeria, igbos declared the war and then invaded other people's territories and got beaten back. Igbos have no case of genocide and that's why 50 years later ICC isn't interested in your very own false claim of genocide.
