And you believe Nigeria has up to a 1000 drones to Deploy at once....?

TheBillyonaire:

Putting up a thousand drones on the sky of Niger and flooding the sky for just 5 minutes will be something. I imagine there will be massive vibration into their sky and their stray rains of bullets and mortars will kill a few of their people and put so much fear in their minds, and as soon as that is over, just 5 minutes after we hit their inventories and tanks and then the ground troop swoops into their tank farms and use IEDs to blow up their fuel supplies..

Let's start with that. Lets go to war for peace and respect. If we can fucck Niger and Mali up, we can keep our borders more secure by setting up Miltary bases on those locations against Boko.

Back in the 1990s, a Nigerian-led ECOWAS intervention force successfully restored democracy by removing the irresponsible military coup plotters in Sierra Leone.

Most of those typing here and spreading hate messages on this thread and others are young and we're mostly not even born when Nigeria helped to restore democracy in Sierra Leone after that military coup. It was a clinical military operation by Nigerian troops who went with lightning speed into Freetown and got the coup plotters kicked out!

The same thing happened during the time of PMB when a Nigerian-led military forces moved in to Gambia to remove Yahya Jammeh of Gambia. It was Tinubu's private jet that was coincidentally used to fly Jammeh out into exile thereby saving Jammeh's ass from being whipped.

Bad strategy.

No fly zone in war time does not stop enemy fly-in, but stops commercial flights. Let's deploy a thousand drones in 5 minutes and exhaust their batteries and then get our jets to drop bombs on their tanks and inventories.

We can start with that.

you can't compare Jamey that lost election a military leader fully supported by his people.

In the 90s NIgerian was not as corrupt as it's today that's why we could win Biafra ,back then you will see Generals leading war from the front like Russian army but today the story is different in Nigeria that's why it's taking is too long to fight Boko Haram that doesn't even have air support, bandits are having field day in sokoto.

One brigade of the Nigerian army will overrun them within hours.

I predict a counter-coup very soon if Ecowas delays any further.
If the guy that claim he is in charge is panicking all over the place,
what should ordinary Nigeriens do?
Are u kidding? So, fortifying d capital is now strange to u? Of course it's normal and should!

Nigeria did dat too. Military reinforcement happened in Aso-rock under dis present government. It happens every other place, every other time.

Face reality Only Russia supports Niger, the whole of Europe supports Nigeria

Do you know how rich Edo State would be if we start selling gas to Europe instead of buying from Russia
Oga, have we been drinking/smoking our gas? Have we not been making sales? Or u think we've not been selling gas to Europe? Dey preferred more of Russian gas cos of cost efficiency due to proximity. (Cost of transporting d gas).
The ones we've been selling, where is the money?
U don't need everyone to support u in woteva, just make sure worthy hands support u, dats all. Even wen only Russia supports dem as u alleged, dey are still in good hands, don't u think so? Well, u can ask Ukraine and clear ur doubt d more.

Any country they stop seeling arms to the country is useless because they can't produce theirs that is simple and short.

What is DICON doing that you need to buy arms ,was it not establish the same time with that of India ,now India is producing weapons you can't even imagine .

Embargoes got placed on Abacha and Jonathan.. both went through hell getting weapons from countries like Pakistan, because flight carrying arms are not cleared to fly accross US allied countries

Just to be clear, I was already an adult back in the 1990s so I can confirm that there was full corruption in the society in Nigeria induced by bad military rule then. From especially the General IBB era in the late 1980s [read the Okigbo Report of corruption in the Gulf Oil Windfall] to General Abacha stealing and stashing over $4 billion USD via the CBN into foreign secret accounts in the 1990s which is the biggest single robbery in Nigerian history by a single person and his cohorts.

Yes, despite that we still had professional soldiers and Generals who went to battle through ECOMOG in Liberia. My family members are and were in the military too and I have cousins who bravely went on missions to Liberia, Bakassi and Sierra Leone on combat duties. The military still has brave men and women as of today but were hampered by some internal sabotage from informants. I will leave it at that.

Last but not least, my references to Gambia and Yahya Jammeh is because he was a former military leader who came in via a coup, became very corrupt and then transmuted into a civilian dictatorship President who didn't want to leave power after losing an election so a Nigerian-led ECOWAS military force moved in to remove him IN 2017 from the sit-tight position for 22 years because he had violated the ECOWAS protocols. Fortunately, reason prevailed on him and Bola Tinubu's private jet was used to fly Jammeh into exile. This happened when PMB was the President of Nigeria.

It is bad precedent as this is the 4th coup recorded in recent times in Africa. It can not be tolerated as it then will pose a threat to democratic rule in Africa. AU has to step in and being a West African Country, Nigeria gotta step up holding the leadership baton of ECOWAS.
