He may later reject this, I still don't like what they are doing to him. Mallam was the main man who stood his ground for Asiwaju. I hope Obi is not having hand inside all these because he has been using those unfortunate LP national assembly members to orchestrate evil in Asiwaju's government.

LMAO.. grin!

So these your lamentations are not reserved for Tinubu alone?

What has Obi got to do with el-Rufai's political travails na? Eh, Rose? I have lived in Kaduna for years through this man's administration and I can pointedly affirm to you, with detailed time stamps of events, that all these allegations against him are true, and even watered down!

So if he ends up being the only scapegoat the Nigerian people will have from the last batch of Governors, so be it then!

The same man you accuse of having an islamization agenda, you accuse of trying to repeal sharia law! Which is which? The truth is ElRufai is under attack for being an unconventional northern politician. El Rufai for instance is one of the few northern politicians in support of devolution of power and true deseralism.

I am a Christian, he merely stated a fact, so long as Muslims are in the majority, they will continue to rule Kaduna just like we say everyday that so long as those the Ibos insult everyday are in the majority they will continue to rule Nigeria. The majority can rule forever and be fair to the minority. The minority have no divine right to blackmail the majority to power. You want power you earn it and in a democracy, so long as you are a minority your ascention to power is at the pleasure of the majority not by blackmail.

I stand with El Rufai. Nigerians are allergic to thee truth and forthright people.
I suggest you reconsider what your mean by being a Christian. If a man insults your family name and you go about explaining the logic behind the insult, most people will see you as a bastard. Same with if you're a member of an organisation yet you help a slanderer to whitewash his slandering of that organisation.

That said, how did you arrive at the conclusion that Muslims are the majority in Kaduna? Assuming but not conceding that they are, how does the fact that El-Rufai picked a Muslim from southern Kaduna as his deputy, stand in the face of your logic that democracy is the rule of the majority, when it is common knowledge that Christians are the majority in southern Kaduna. I mean, if the deputy gov seat is ceded to Kaduna South, should the nominee not be a member of the prevailing religion there?

With same logic, why should a southern Muslim who is decidedly minority in the south be the one to take the southern turn for presidency instead of a southern Christian?
Reevaluate what you think is truth and fair. Examine your Christian identity

Going through the petitions against Nasir- El rufai, he may not be generally appreciated and accepted, but he still remains one of the most intelligent egg-heads in the Ministerial list of PBAT no doubt.

In all public offices El- rufai has led, his performance has been exceptional. He combines technocratic and political influence assertively without fear or favour.

From the BPE to FCT and Kaduna Government house, his strides and initiatives were breakthrough performances which are evident till date.

He is one person who embarks on continuous self development. His over 10 certifications from Harvard back to back clearly shows a person hungry for knowledge.

After he carefully understudied the Lagos IGR model, he grew the IGR of Kaduna State exponentially during his tenor and surpassed budgeted projection for 2019,2020, and 2011.

He moved Kaduna to the state with the 4th highest IGR state in Nigeria.

He also has same stint in the FCT where he had to re-organise the city to fit it's initial Master plan which is still evident till date.

His religious views may be fundamentalist, but as minister his brief and scope of duty is his Ministry as such there will be no violation of rights.

He would be an impactful minister as his capacity is not in doubt and we need fearless Men like him to get the job done.

Let the security agencies give him the benefit of doubt. His wealth of public service experience and fearless approach to problem solving will excite other Ministers in the cabinet.

egbon. He is not far from the truth. Christians are a minute minority in a muslim dominated kaduna. but you expect to always produce a governor. Is that how it is done in plateau and taraba which happens to be in the north but a muslim hardly gets a chairman position. You christians, your sense of entitlement. the Dss will surely clear him. the christians are using it to lie against him. and hopely he gets the minister of defence
1. Christians are not a minute minority in Kaduna as you claim. Worst case they will be around 45%. I don't think that qualifies as minute minority.
2. When did Kaduna Christians ever demand to always produce governor? Can you cite an instance? Where is the sense of entitlement there?
You might not like Christians but it does not mean you should spread lies against them I think.

El-rufai is a walking testament of the popular phrase "two sides of a coin".

Infrastructurally, he did stupendously well! If you left Kaduna about 6years ago and returned there only today, you'll definitely get lost in the same city you were born into.

In the parts of Kaduna where his heart was, he invested hugely in human capital development. Created an enabling and safe environment for SMEs to pick up and thrive. Even remarkably improved on electricity to the point that city today competes with Abuja in terms of stable electricity.

But you see Christian dominated regions of Kaduna? He rained hell and brimstone on the indigenes to the point Kaduna now has refugees camped in its neighbouring states, including Abuja.

I am embarrassed as a Christian to see constantly how low some Christians have sunk in terms of his capacity to reason and engage his brain. That’s all I am going to say to you. There is nothing incorrect in what ElRufai said, he merely made a statement of fact. Like I said Pentecostalism has damaged the brains of Nigerian Christians.

The exploitative culture of pentecostalism of brainwashing you to pray for miracles and blessings with less emphasis on effort has killed the mental capacity of many Christians.

I am a Christian and a southerner please.

It's particularly sad and disheartening that Nigeria has degenerated to the point where even on internet platforms, tribalism has burrowed so deeply into our existential core, that a man has to state his Religion and Origin, after giving such a beautiful insight on a matter of National interest, just in a bid not to offend the sensibilities of extremists.. .

"I am a Christian and a Southerner please"... !

Nigerians, really? This is where we are?

You know very well that El Rufai did his first tenure with a Christian deputy who was hated by his people for been a deputy to ElRufai. In addition the Southern Kaduna people majorly identify with pdp and consider the apc as a Muslim party due to pdp propaganda. From his previous experience of having a Christian deputy who was hated for simply been his deputy, I think ElRufai simply did what most politicians will do to get votes. Running with a Christian deputy will not give him any advantage in southern Kaduna.

Malam Nasir El Rufai's recent senseless, insensitive, divisive and satanic verses about nothing being wrong with muslims only holding leadership positions in Nigeria is enough to stop him from being a minister that will serve ALL Nigerians irrespective of their religious, political and social affiliations. He painted himself, unnecessarily, as a religious extremist when he should be stateman striving to build a united Nigeria. His sense of fairness, equity, diversity and emotional intelligence seem to be dead.

Of recent, Malam Nasir El Rufai has become a huge disappointment. He should retrace his step because even the much revered and legendary late Sir Ahmadu Bello who was more dedicated to the Arewa cause than him didn't walk this dark road of religious hate. He needs to purge his head and heart and become a little open-minded for his well being. He should open up his heart and a ray of light in to be a good Muslim. He should open up the window of his mind and allow fresh air in to remain a balanced human being. He should rise and break the chain of negative extremism less he will die a slave of twisted political logic.

The agency also accused him of attempting to repeal Sharia law in Kaduna State in his dying days in office as Kaduna governor. This was said to be in his desperate bid to appease the Christian population in the state.
in other words, to deceive Christian community
