PRESS RELEASE:

MILITARY BETTER UNDER DEMOCRACY

The Defence Heaquartes frown at a report being circulated online about welfare issues in the Armed Forces of Nigeria. The reports call on the military to interfere in our democracy is highly unpatriotic, wicked, and an attempt to distract the Armed Forces of Nigeria from performing it's
constitutional responsibilities.

While the leadership of the AFN gives priority to welfare of its personnel
however, we detest any attempt by any individual or group to instigate the law abiding Armed Forces of Nigeria to embark on any unconstitutional change of government in our country. We wish to state unequivocally that the military is happy and better under democracy and Will not get involved in any act to sabotage the hard-earned democracy in our country.

The AFN under the leadership of the Chief of Defence Staff, General CG Musa is determined to ensure complete subordination of the Armed Forces to constitutional authority under His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and will not be distracted from its roles that are well defined in the 1999 constitution (as amended).

Thank you for your usual cooperation.

Signed:
TUKUR GUSAU,
Brigadier General
Director Defence Information

But democracy in Nigeria is sabotaged already.
The constitution which holds democracy in our nation was thrown in the mud in a political coup to select an unconstitutional being.

If there's one thing I've learnt from over 8 years of the APC Govt, it's that whenever they refute an imaginary rumour, its usually a means to shift focus from pressing issues.

This was the same way they were singing songs of an imaginary interim govt threat because they thought that Obidients will protest. They needed a viable excuse to kill innocent people, only to be disappointed by Peter Obi when he called for zero protests. Clowns!

Nigerians, go about your regular daily activities, nobody is calling for any coup. They're just trying to look busy. Eye service! APC has lied so much that they have become too predictable!!

Sad news for Obidients. They have been the ones calling for a coup.

The only attempted political coup was by a particular party.

The truth of the matter is that those who sabotaged our democracy are those who grabbed, stole and ran away with power, then turned around to threaten the entire nation with anarchy and chaos if they are sent packing by the courts

Well, can we in all honesty say that democracy has done is well in this country?

Hasn’t democracy led this country down a path she may never recover if we don’t act urgently?

Anyways, things is, coups aren’t always committed my high ranking officers. It’s always the junior and mid-level ones that shoulder the responsibility often.

Let’s pray they younger officers don’t get too uncomfortable with the system.

We will resist any attempt to scuttle our hard earned democracy. People lost their lives to get where we are today.
You should all perish the thought.

When you are done, go and and prepare for how you and your children will trek to church tomorrow. And when they ask you "Papa, why are we not entering keke?", make sure you try and explain to them that your 30k agbado stipend for being an online nuisance, is not enough to foot transport costs currently. But trust children, you go explain tire, no evidence.

Oh, and another thing, I will advise you begin the journey early, so you won't be late for service.

Trust the military at your own Peril. If the military want to stage a coup, they don't make any announcement on the day, date and time. They will just steal the show like a thief in the night.
