Praying Silently Or Praying Loudly, Which One Is The Right Way Of Praying? by BabaIbo: 12:28pm On Aug 13, 2023
Which of these two ways of praying is the right or better way of praying?

I'm asking this question because of those religious houses that pray on top of their voices, even after mounting loud speakers in the religious house corners.
These acts may be inconvenient to other people.

Since, we are praying to our Father in heaven who already know our thoughts before we fork them and sees our hearts, do we need to shout for God to hear us?
These are verses on God knowing our thoughts and seeing our hearts:
Luke 16:15a,
Jeremiah 17:10,
Psalm 44:21

Does a child shout at his father for food/wants/needs before he/she gets them?

Just make sure you are praying no matter what?

Actually, nothing wrong with the two from the Bible. The more important thing is to get answers to the prayers.

Let's consider what Jesus of Nazareth said on the matter:

"when you pray, go into your private room and, after shutting your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you" Matthew 6:6

Before praying with his 12 apostles for the first time ever Jesus took them to a secret place so that nobody can hear him except those concerned {John 17:8-9} by doing so Jesus laid the example for us to follow.

When praying individually each Christian need to go into his private room where nobody can see nor hear him {Matthew 6:6} but if we are congregated in one place then one person should take the lead while others say "AMEN" at the end of the prayer.

It's pagans who do shout when calling their gods {1Kings 18:25-29} because they're not sure whether anyone is listening but Christians have the assurance that our prayers will be answered if we pray according to his will {
1John 5:14} that's why we (Jehovah's Witnesses) always make sure our prayers is in line with God's will not just carnal in fact due to following Christ's instructions regarding prayer most people have concluded that we don't even pray at all! smiley
