southwest Nigeria became the first region to receive the light. They got education, religion and exposure long before any other region in Nigeria 'except for the hausas who had some measure of contact with the outside :Arabs and other people across the Sudan, Mali and Libya.

The yoruba are known for being philoxenic. Allowing strangers to live peacefully In their towns and cities.
This beaituful synergy continued for centuries, but came to an abrupt halt around 2002; when some people in lagos felt they needed to hold on to power no matter the cost .
Then and there the campaign to malign and threaten (the other peoples) was born. And with money, the propaganda was spread - nazi style - from Lagos to other parts of the SW.

To this day, it's more embedded and pushed to it's limits within lagos. This thing they call tribalism was born and nurtured for the sake of the political survival of a few.

Nigerians were surprised how a once open minded tribe suddenly became the most xenophobic.. But they forget something... Let me remember them..

The obedient movement is practically made up of 35% yoruba. And Infact they demonstrated this by voting massively for Peter obi in lagos and most SW states.
Pundits have it that obi actually won 3 southwest states, but was rigged out in two and his votes was also surpressed in lagos.

The yoruba have no qualms with the igbo.
And infact 15% of yoruba intermarriages ARE WITH IGBO MEN, same goes for the igbo ladies who freely marry yoruba men.

We must understand that the Nigerian population is being Re-engineered to hate, to name-call and to segregate...... All of these - masterminded by politicians we all know and see on television everyday.

That is to say.... Nigerians must resist this evil plague of hate-mongering amongst it's people,- because it could graduate into a culture and tradition if left unchecked.

Luckily for the us, we saw when (the tribalism thing from lagos ) it was planted - watered and harvested in such a short time.
That is to say it can also be resolved and destroyed before our generation passes away.

Allowing sit tight politicians delude and deceive the masses is injurious to the well being of a society

eberyone knows there are yoruba OBEDIENTS.. Like bode george and Obasanjo.. I think what most Nigerians aimed as targets, were the criminal Minded propagandist who tried to sow hate and deride personalities of yoruba extraction. Who stood up for change. Like the group of people who derided grv, one baale even came out on National newspaper to say obasanjo was an igbo man.

The poor old man had to come on National TV to deny it

Now Obi won 3 states in SW. But nothing like that was mentioned at the tribunal. How come all of a sudden you people don’t want to see the Yorubas as tribal bigots anymore? 🀑🀑🀑🀑🀑🀑🀑

Politicians dividing people by making victims. So, they then can act like the person that is going to rescue them from their perceived injustice that the politician created. IMHO politicians are the route (root) of most evil in our country.

Some politicians want you to believe that they will dispossess your countrymen and make them suffer for you to be rich and you believe them.

The retarded clown is the finest among the clans of Zombiedients. They are so dumb and foolish for eight years to be regurgitating lies told by Nnamdi Kanu that Buhari is a clone of Jibril El Sudan(sic).

You write and called the yoruba, xenophobic.
How dare you?
You insult yoruba with reckless abadon we kept quite.
You said our Land is a no man's land, yet you have a place you call your own
You said you developed our land yet your land is desolate
In your state our politicians didn't score up to 1% yet we gave your politician massive vote
You boast and beat your chest you are superior to us, yet is not visible in any ramifications
You are full of hate for us, yet we have always accommodated you
You called us cowards, yet during the civil war it was our general that stood and you surrendered to.

Let heaven and all the gods of yoruba land decend on you in all their wrath if you don't apologise and retract that statement

I love my igbo brothers. They will soon arrive to fight you so called Yoruba Obidients. Why? Because you attested to the fact that Yoruba saw the light before them and alluded to the fact that Yoruba is by far more sophisticated. Their problem is not Tinubu but his tribe. You already said what they hate to hear the most. They will come to attack you, not minding you are Obidient.

How I love them Igbos, they expose themselves so easily, fall for every single bait and make the Yoruba Ronu work very easy. 😁

in the bigger light you lots are the idiots grin
Especially the peasants amongst you grin educated and elite class Yorubas always stand out πŸ˜€πŸ’ͺ not you agbado touts

When there was fire outbreak in one of the markets in lag during that election period your government had to rebuild and restock igbo businesses there my cousin was a living witness

All your elites are aligning with Igbos and interbreeding with genes of greatness πŸ’ͺπŸ˜€you dey one slum inside Bere Ibadan dey talk about sophistication

I pity Una

Igbos are by far the smartest the fact that obi wasn't able to spend money much to fill Lagos stadium but went to the streets and markets of Lagos to recruit both Yorubas and others by his side shows how hardworking and smart Igbos are grin

Yorubas are great
Igbos are great

Agbado People are peasants Tinubu is playing with your heads while his child interbreeding with people of greatness cheesy

Big shout out to Falz, mc macaroni, Baba Adebanjo and other elite Yorubas who stood for what is right

Like say you dey read my mind, I really want to know those three states.
I guess they assumed Ondo and Ekiti are for takes because of their Christian majority, of which those two are some of the most traditional Yoruba states especially Ekiti.

The problem with your bigoted ilk is that you assume that the Toafeek is different from Christopher.
Yoruba are bonded beyond your attempt to use religion to divide our ranks.

It can't work. Try a million times and you'll always fail !

Yorubas and their quest to appear superior to other tribes. The op here is claiming that his people had electricity, education and western religion before every other tribe in southern Nigeria. I don't want to dig into this matter but let me remind him that Oba Eware of Benin was powerful because he accepted Christianity from Portuguese in exchange for firearms. That was hundreds of years before our superior neighbours learnt of the name Jesus.

A. A bastard;
B. Christian bigot or
C. A confirmed bastard and a religious bigot.
