Hi guys, I don't know if this is the right section to post this but I'm seriously having a rats infestation problem in my apartment. Nothing seems to work on them anymore, they've gotten smarter. I've tried gum mat, poison and also garlic, all to no avail. I've also blocked all entrances I know they follow into my apartment, still they keep coming back. The other day I was looking for my chicken wings that I kept on my table, after about 5days, I saw the chicken wings in my sitting room all eaten down to the bone, stripped of all meat. I'm just tired.

Please if anyone has a very effective solution to permanently chase them away, something that'll make them never want to return to my apartment, please kindly share. Thank you.

Yeah I used to have a cat at my old place but gave it out when I moved. And the landlord of this new place has a no pet policy. Cat or dog.
