That's not too good. Repair the refinery, that's what we all need. So simple

This should be a temporary measure to avoid further price increase. Hopefully, it will be for a short period of time. Probably till Dangote and PH refineries will come on board or till when the exchange rate can be stabilized.

Lol... It won't work... Fuel doesn't come directly from president to final consumer na ..
Even if they subsidise it, marketers won't allow the price to come down, coz that little subsidy will be their gain.... (Final consumer suffers)
Now if federal government uses strong hand on the marketer, then instead of price to reduce, they will hoard it, leading to scarcity of fuel... (Final consumers still suffers)..
It's better this way, coz as it is :-
1- Both marketers and consumers are suffering it coz since marketers can now import their fuel, they will sell the normal general agreed price. No unnecessary hike....and no government intervention...
2- Since the removal of subsidy NO MORE FUEL SCARCITY.... It's available just that no money.. but it's available.. and marketers can no longer hoard it because once imported, they will try and sell it off as fast as they can....

Price will come down ONLY when our indigenous Refinery starts operating full capacity, but until then, we will import and pay cost price and transportation price together

When Atiku Abubakar outrightly said he was going to sell the Nation's refineries during the campaigns, the hyenas almost tore him to shreds. Those things should be disposed of, and at best, the government can have 20% stakes in each. Let private individuals and companies handle the repairs and operations.

It's certain Tinubu is clueless and confused, when a clown forces himself into a palace, he won't become a king nah! Rather he will turn the palace to a circus

Tinubu is a clown , Nigeria is now a Circus

What became of the 2014 one-year, one-refinery promise of the APC? Why have the Warri, Kaduna and PH refineries not been functioning optimal despite all the embezzled TAM? Meanwhile, the Dangote refinery commissioned already is now probably waiting to be functional? See una life?

Sometime, one can't but just laugh @ your warped mentality to always defend the indefensible. Tinubu as illegitimate president remains a daft clueless, inept and incompetent fella. It were better if he remained the heroin sniffing drug baron he has been than to force himself on our national life with his stupid emilokan mentality.

Well, the truth is that what Atiku said was that he would sell NNPC.

Yes, I agree with the 20% stakes you mentioned. Inshort, if there is no one to buy the refinery, they should dash it and their workers out. It is a big drain on the nation for an unproductive venture like that.

this Nigeria issues, why can't we just buy refinery abroad? fairly use refinery in the us goes for about 3billion dollars or so, lots of refinery went bankrupt due to the advent of electric cars in America, building new refinery would cost close to 12 billion dollars in today Nigerian economy, buying refinery abroad could see us buying fuel at a lower price,im no economist but i know it would would be way more cheap than the price we are buying now.we already have oil tankers so bringing in fuel from abroad wont be an issue, this can even create japa opportunity for some Nigerians who want to work at the refinery plants abroad.advantage of this is we can save enough money to build our own refinery then sell that back, Nigerian refined oil (pms) could be sold to American's when they need it but at their pump price,it would even make sales more profitable and easy,i am aware of the taxation policies, these would be same with American owned companies,as long as ww dont violate their environmental policies, i heard they now use coal, because its environment friendly, Nigeria can resume mining coal in Enugu and kogi then transport the coal to the refinery using returning empty oil vessels to cut down cost.

😂.
Nobody is dashing anything please. And Atiku said he intended to sell the refineries and "unbundle" the NNPC, which to me was a fine idea, anyhow you slice it.
