When President Bola Tinubu was sworn in over four months now, the first thing he did in his inaugural speech was to remove petrol subsidy. Since then, he has the 10 promises of his manifesto during the 2023 general election waiting for him which are :

1. Build a Nigeria, especially for our youth, where sufficient jobs with decent wages create a better life.

2. Manufacture, create, and invent more of the goods and services we require. Nigeria shall be known as a nation of creators, not just of consumers.

3. Export more and import less, strengthening both the naira and our way of life.

4. Continue assisting our ever-toiling farmers, through enlightened agricultural policy that promotes productivity and assures decent incomes, so that farmers can support their families and feed the nation.

5. Modernise and expand public infrastructure so that the rest of the economy can grow at an optimal rate.

6. Embolden and support our young people and women by harnessing emerging sectors such as the digital economy, entertainment and culture, tourism and others to build the Nigeria of tomorrow, today.

7. Train and give economic opportunity to the poorest and most vulnerable among us. We seek a Nigeria where no parent is compelled to send a child to bed hungry, worried whether tomorrow shall bring food.

8. Generate, transmit and distribute sufficient, affordable electricity to give our people the requisite power to enlighten their lives, their homes, and their very dreams.
.
9. Make basic healthcare, education, and housing accessible and affordable for all.

10. And, most importantly, establish a bold and assertive policy that will create a strong yet adaptive national security architecture and action to obliterate terror, kidnapping, banditry, and all other forms of violent extremism from the face of our nation

I can laugh over this as it relates to today's current reality because it seems someone is playing Nigerians. But seriously, Nigerians should take the issue of their governance very seriously.

A copy and paste but unfeasible plagiarised version of MKO Abiola's hope 1993 manifesto not in tandem with the economic realities in a 21st century world.

Tinubu was highly whitewashed and overhyped during the campaigns as a strategic policy and human resources manager during his governorship days which were all a facade and charade. Hence his managers shielded him from public scrutiny via live debate and interviews sessions. His woeful outing @ Chatham House was a pointer but some gullible citizens fell for his political gimmick.

This is because, like Buhari, Tinubu turned out not only to be a grave disaster given the events of his last 3 months in his contentious occupation of the office, but an extrapolation of the APC cluelessness, ineptitude, and incompetency inherent in Buhari.

Imagine Abubakar Bagudu, Nyesom Wike, Nasir El-Rufai, Matawalle, as his so called ministerial nominees? Infact, these failures are still be shuffled like a pack of cards after more than 20 years of emilokan mentality

In the words of Peter Obi, "It's easy to assemble professors and get them to write you a beautiful manifesto even though you have no idea how to achieve those goals."

This is exactly what APC did. Osinbajo, a professor of law, wrote APC a manifesto they don't know how to execute.

Only God knows who wrote Escoba's manifesto... probably his good friends from Colombia. cheesy

First and foremost, Tinubu had no manifesto reason there is no mention of it since he assumed power

What was put together as a manifesto and called RenewedHope was nothing but a mere document with stolen childhood pictures of Donald Duke, the former governor of Cross River State

Tinubu has vindicated us, as sadistic as Buhari is, he is far better than Tinubu. Tinubu would never be better than even Hitler. Even with the sanctions in place Nigerien people are more happy than Nigerians

U are talking of realistic with the present situation? The reality is that things are really getting out of hands sporadically and the govt is loosing control.

What would have rescued the situation is the early appointment pf ministers and the assigning of portfolios to them but to these guys playing politics is more important than the wellbeing of Nigerians.
The main thing delaying the list now will be the politician to please and the one not to displease to get certain portfolios at the expense of wellbeing of the masses, cos they don't feel what we feel.

Give druggie and Yoruba 40 years to rule uninterrupted… Nigeria will turn Somali and they will still use propaganda to brainwash themselves …. While supporting and hailing the Somali as best thing to happen to humanity..

Funny enough this self acclaimed sophisticators knows the truth.. but tribalism, superiority complex and fake intellectualism will never allow them humble.

To even believe that druggie actually read his manifesto.. is already scammed.

Same as promises buhari made.

Tinubu is empty and not different from other politicians.

They only strive into public offices for their selfish purpose.

No matter how rough and tough d jungle is, Lion no fit chop grasses, when there are plenty animals for jungle to eat.
D funny thing about dis whole shit is that Tinubu's supporters in South west hv turned to begging as an occupation. Most of them can't even afford d cheapest ACT right now, but u will still see dem telling to endure small
