Akala And Daniel's Heroic Welcome In Court Makes Stealing Appealing

NIGERIA. Land of possibilities. A land where villains are idolized and men of virtue are villified. I saw how Akala's and Daniel's arrival in court was heralded by 'rankadede' chants by ignoble Nigerians.
One will almost think its a chieftaincy title award ceremony. Why wont people steal?
NIGERIA.

@Ileke idi even if you have all the passport to all the countries of the world, your home still remains nigeria, the land where anything, i say anything is possible.

Most nigerians will sing praises to anyone who gives them small change even if the person is an armed robber or a known ritualist,
At times I don't even blame them cos poverty has made this nation so blind, people don't even care where the money they get come from, their own na make dem see food chop.I weep for my motherland.

It may be legally right to say they are adjudged innocent until proven guilty but it is morally wrong to jubilate and not show sobriety when you've been accused (even if wrongly) of corruption of gargantuan proportion like this. Is there any hope for this country from the monster called corruption?

What's wrong with both the leaders and the led?

Even in the mini campus environment, things like these are so rampant. The minds of every or close to every individual in this country has been corrupted, only God can salvage the situation of this nation, nothing more.

I saw them on tv and I marvelled. Here are people whose lives have been adversely impacted by the activities of these politicians yet they hail them endlessly. Illiteracy sure is a terrible disease.

I live very close to the court where Akala was arraigned. You should have seen the number of supporters that came out to hail this man. There were so many cars around that area that people found it hard to park. My conclusion, NIGERIANS ARE THE REASON WHY NIGERIA IS THE WAY IT IS, NOT POLITICIANS.
Imagine the damaging impact booing this politicians will have. Imagine if they we stoned instead of hailed them. This would discourage other politicians from stealing.

Instead we hail them. They walk into our court rooms smiling. Then we go home and complain about electricity, water, roads, security, etc.

That is the same way some Governors and other ACN chieftains went to Abuja to fight the federal government and defend Tinubu when he was arraigned.

Sorry for Nigerian youths.
