You will be forgotten. Former friends, classmates and colleagues have already forgotten about you, and it will continue with everyone else. Memories of you will gradually fade as the minds of those who once knew and loved you die. Eventually, you will leave no trace, as if you never existed. Regardless of who you are, the vast expanse of time erases all remnants of the past.

You will be replaced, whether by others or by technology and progress. Those moments when you had to explain things to older generations will soon be replaced by moments where you'll need others to explain things to you. Perhaps those moments are already here. Eventually, explanations will become useless. At some point, your importance will diminish, and the ways in which you once mattered will fade away.
