Instagram... Deleted it because my thread account was tied to it, had to delete both Instagram and thread
Twitter... I hardly go online.
WhatsApp... Had to create a new account with a different number, old number was bringing lots of problems.
Nairaland... I feel free here even though it's toxic like twitter

Very educative. Depending on how you surf. I have learnt alot on Facebook, once l was presenting a paper on ' cracked feet', l was amazed on the works of others l was able to access there, since then l follow educative pages, videos and learn big time! Majorly what l couldn't learn the conversational way.

I use Twitter, X now, to stay in touch with international trends more than local news and most recently I started using Nairaland.. Loving it here.

Facebook is and will always remain the most popular social media app in the world.
The only social media that gives the average and extremely poor some form of free daily online presence with it's free mode option.

Lots of people share incredibly interesting stuff on their feed (even me now, sef and if I do say so). I wouldn’t want to miss out on that so I do still pay attention here-and-there. It’s not everyone who doesn’t mind being your Facebook friend who wants to have you all up in their Insta. so it’s a great way to stay updated but with that layer of privacy (Insta.‘s more intimate and a bit more reserved for the people you know well or want to see you in a certain light).

I actually lost all interest in Facebook when my main account, 13yrs old account was hacked. I Though I opened a new account, but can never be like my old one. I totally lost interest. It pained me so much

Got my old account hacked lost all my class mates...over the years I stopped but had to come back because man must hustle Facebook pages are paying for promotion needless to say but it's really helpful in this hardship.

Facebook really struggled from the end of 2013 right up until the beginning of 2019 (for under-35s it was literally all about Instagram and Snapchat then) but we’re in a more balanced place again in terms of utilising all these social-media apps. I feel like a lot of people who fell out of love with Facebook for large chunks of the 2010s are back in the game now low-key. Some people hardly add personal captions to anything they post but just share stories of things they find interesting and relevant in a way that’ll give people a feel of who they are to an extent and some of what they stand for. Some just use it as a more impersonal/less ominous way of DMing someone and remain grateful for Messenger continuing to serve its function and do its ting. Some people are still stuck in 2008/2011 with the whole F.B. craze but kudos to them still. Everyone needs somewhere where they can feel connected.
