Analysis Of President Tinubu's Incoming Ministers by garfield1: 12:37pm On Aug 20, 2023
Like I predicted, tinubu was going to assign key and sensitive ministries to technocrats or professionals while giving non sensitive ones to politicians.again, almost all his special advisers are technocrats.let us look at each ministry and the incoming minister and see if they fit..

Finance:Wale edun fits perfectly well.he has prepared for this since 1999.before now,he was special adviser or monetary affairs.i see him surpassing ngozi iweala in exploits.

Education:Prof Tahir mamman is a legendary educationist,a core academician who once headed the Nigerian law school and VC baze university.he has nurtured so many great names in Nigeria.

Health: Dr prof Ali pate is arguably the best doctor in Nigeria and possibly west africa.he has worked in virtually all the notable health institutions globally.with Dr alausa deputising him,our health sector will be revamped.

Information: Idris malagi is a revered journalist, owner of blueprint media and a major stakeholder in the media industry.another fantastic appointment.

Trade and investment:Dr Doris anite was in zenith bank before becoming imo commissioner for finance and then part of tinubu's economic advisory teams.fantastic pick.

Communication and digital evonomy: bosun tijani,an ict expert of international repute, very youthful.he might just be tinubu's greatest appointment.

Agriculture: sen kyari is the biggest farmer in borno axis and will surely bring his wealth of experience.

Defence: badaru is no security expert but perhaps tinubu feels since he managed insecurity in his state and is a strong voice in the north,he can manage the defence sector.aversge pick.

Transport: I'll have preferred someone more agile and robust here to continue the rail revolution.oyetola is more of an administrator than a bulldozer.

Aviation: though keyamo is not an expert here, sirika who is an expert failed woefully.keyamo has this zeal and hunger for success which might push him to turnaround that ministry for good.

Solid minerals: on face value, alake should be in information but he is a close confident of tinubu and there must have been a kind of agreement between them for him to be deployed to solid minerals.beyond being a journalist,he is a strategist.perhaps,he can resuscitate that sector as tinubu is pushing to diversify Nigeria away from oil.

Blue economy and marine: there's so much potential and money to be made from the maritime sector.the best sector for Nigeria to focus more on is the maritime sector and a youthful and ict savvy bunmi ojo is a perfect fit for that.

Science and technology; chief uche nnaji is a poor nominee

Humanitarian: Dr Betta edu sojourn in cross river and as national women leader has given her experience on how to handle this ministry.she is a philanthropist and a humanist.nice pick.

Women affairs: I'll have preferred hon onyejeocha there instead of uju Kennedy that struggles to express herself in English.uju Kennedy would have fitted better as deputy minister humanitarian aff.average nomination

Sports: the versatility of sen owan enoh will see him through in the sports ministry.

Culture and arts; hannatu musawa is tailor made for this ministry.shes an international artist and creative personality.her works of arts is breathtaking.excellent choice.

Fct: I was thinking wike will be in Niger delta ministry or petroleum but he will still perform here.

Works; engr umahi is the best for this.he will take concrete technology to another level.

Lola ade: another fantastic choice.she will turn the tourism sector into a lucrative venture.

Petroleum: lokpobiri is a poor choice.

Gas resources: hon ekperikpe ekpo has several stakes in the gas sector.he will try his best here.average rating.

Police affairs: upon all the talents in yobe, sen geidam imposed himself as the nominee from yobe despite walking with a stick.it is nauseating.

National planning: Atiku bagudu has a good financial background.he will do well here.

Housing: architect dangiwa is a good pick for this ministry.

Water resources; prof utsev is a professor of water technology and a fantastic pick for this ministry.

Interior; Saidu alkali nomination is purely politics.

Power: though adelabu is a financial expert,he might bring his wealth of experience in the cbn and turn things around.

Tinubu cabinet is far superior to buhari and gej own and at par with obj ministers.

These days it’s no more a call to service rather a call to loot. Don’t expect anything. Your analysis starts and ends right where you are😁
