Mods, don't think I'm unaware that you closed my thread on Islam using ancient rites borrowed from Orisha. By the way, I also know my moniker is under watch and review. Its a game of cat and rat but I will put that to the side.

I am born into muslim family but my family is not an ignorant one. We are very knowledgeable in what Islam is, and we never deny our spirituality in Yoruba traditional culture. We do not follow any Imam or man to teach us about Allah. We get our knowledge of Allah direct from Quran.

I will challenge any muslim here on this forum who denies that Ifa is not accepted in Islam. I will also challenge any muslim who denies that salat are rituals borrowed from Orisha worshippers.

The challenge will allow audience to learn. Instead of closing my thread allow open debate so people can learn and free their minds from bondage of religion.

2.If I were to come and open a thread stating that Yourba tradtional religion is really worship of Satan and evil beings, vs True Christianity being the pure and only region....it would essentially become less of a thread for learning, and more of a provocative thread.

Nairaland already has too much provocation on this site. Already we have far too many threads whose aim is to provoke rather than to teach.

You are in essence stating that Islam is just Yoruba traditional religion. Would you like it if I came and said that Yourba traditional religion is nothing but religion of witches? Or if I stated that a Orisa devotee was really worshipping Jesus and he did not know it? (An actual argument among some christians by the way).?

At the end, whether that was your intention or not, your article was very provocative. Yes, people should control themselves, but people should not also light the fire.

Im giving you facts from an irrefutable source, the Quran, and you are spinning tales about ifs and supposes.

Is it true that Yoruba worship is satanic? No, not true, and good sources exist to prove it.

Is it true that Islam rose out of Orisha worship? Yes, fact. Quran states so.

Religious people should respect the choice of Spiritual people. Infact, spirituality is pro-humanity, religion is not. Religion causes friction and abuse, it scorches the earth. Spirituality uplifts and embraces living energies. Between the two, religion ought to be discarded from human society.
