E-hailing being a modern means of transportation where riders book a car online using a Mobile application , while the drivers of the vehicle drives to the location with the help of gps navigate Map to pick up the Rider(s) and take them to their desired location. After completing the ride , the riders can either pay via their card or cash, of with most riders prefer to use bank transfer to the drivers bank account . Since network is a common challenge with bank transfer depending on the location, some people decided to use the opportunity to scam the drivers making drivers believe they have made the transfer but the driver being the receiver , can not see notifications due to network delays, but will only realize after the rider who claimed to have sent the money is long gone, that no transfer was actually made.
This recently became a common trick in the Kaduna state , which made the e-hailing drivers grouped themselves and shared phone numbers and usernames of some the perpetrators among themselves.
Recently the same people where picked by other drivers who drive them to a location while they alerted all drivers who all drove there and arrested them, they were arrested and taken to a police station where they were held until all drivers they were owning came to collect their monies , even though they could not pay all that they were owning they pleaded for forgiveness and promised never to repeat it .
The bolt drivers also said they were still hunting for a few more ,who have committed such offenses and will surely get them sooner

Nice one from the drivers. With the price of petrol, these heartless souls are still going about adding hot coals on people's injury.
