I am about to buy a Nigerian used car. All the documents are complete.

The seller is not a dealer, so I am suggesting his home as the point of transaction and he doesn't want that.

My thinking is that it should be done at a permanent address so that he can be reached if a need for that arises in the future.

What you need is the original document and a scan copy of his driver license.

The account you are to transfer to should should have the same name on the document.

He will make a written transfer note /document which both of you will sign. If you are still not satisfied you can take a photo of the both of you shaking hand and transfer of the papers.

Drive into the nearest police station and do the needful..
If he's jittery and doesn't want to enter..
That's your cue
