Although he wasn’t on the touchline, Sunday’s victory over Sheffield United still marked a significant milestone for Pep Guardiola.

The Catalan became the fastest manager to 200 wins in English top-flight history with the 2-1 win at Bramall Lane.

Taking just 269 games to hit his double century, it sees our boss far eclipse the previous record of 326 matches set by Jose Mourinho in 2020.

Sir Alex Ferguson held the Premier League era record, taking 322 games to reach 200 wins

Guardiola has been the dominant manager in English football since arriving at City in 2016, guiding us to five Premier League titles in seven seasons.

The latest win sees us become the only side in this year’s Premier League to have a 100% record after three games.

The boss is currently in Spain, recovering from routine back surgery earlier in the week, but his assistant Juanma Lillo insisted on Friday that Guardiola’s influence has still been felt on the team throughout the week.

Pep's Premier League stats after seven seasons

Across his 269 league fixtures in charge at City, Guardiola has seen City pick up a whopping 636 points.

That’s 57 more than Liverpool, who have been the second best performing Premier League team since the summer of 2016.

Of the other 69 games, City have drawn 34 times and lost on 35 occasions.

Under his management, City have scored 665 and conceded just 216 goals to leave us with a momentous goal difference of +449.

Congratulations to Pep Guardiola and his backroom staff on yet another spectacular record.

I still believe Alex Ferguson is the best ever to coach one football club. The longevity and what he achieved with Manchester United is forever goated. Overall, Pep is distinctly clear from the crowd when it comes to tactical expertise, ability to switch formations, developing players, buying the right players and playing them in flexible positions on the pitch, football philosophy, and so on.

When Guardiola coached Barcelona and Bayern Munich, he dominated local and abroad. During those period, Critics, Pundits, Analysts and several football lovers asserted that he cannot have this dominance in the premier league. Now, it's 2023, his 7th season with City, he has won every title in the premier league, won the premier league 4 times in 5 years and a treble 2022/2023 season. His mission clearly is to farmalise the league, break every possible records that put the league in high esteem and his special weapon delivery, Erling Halaand has landed.

It's not about how many titles Manchester City would win under Pep. It's about how long he would continue to coach Manchester City to win titles. He has not gone a single season without winning a trophy and that's just terrifying. So, imagine all you want.

If he wins the champions league this season, I'd like for him to coach Spain. Compete for the world cup and seal his status as the greatest football coach of all time, just like his favorite player, Messi has done

Since I won 18million through his tactics I started respecting him. Even while not physically available to coach today I still won 768k through his skills today.
