Igbo Communities in Benue state: The Igbos in Benue State particularly those in Ado, Oju, Obi and Okpoku LGAs of the state were in existence before the advent of Christian religion in Nigeria. The Igbos in Benue can be found in Umuezeokoha, Umuezeoka, Oriuzor, Umuoghara, Amaekka and Amaezekwe all in Ezza communities, Izzi, Ezzamgbo and Effiu. The people of Umuezeokoha has many villages. If you are to calculate the number of Igbo-speaking villages in Benue State, outside Umuezeokaoha, you would be talking altogether about over 600 villages. Three of the biggest markets in Benue are all in the Igbo-speaking part. The markets are Inikiri Ichari, Iddah, Iduokpe. There are also some Igbo speaking Idoma towns in Benue State. 9 Likes 2 Shares

These are lgb0s who came to Benue to seek refuge and as the usual lgb0 behavior, posses the land like it's theirs. Why do u think there is always crîsès between Ebonyi and Ado of Benue State? I know a young man from Ogbadibo LG of Benue State who said the lgb0s were living in their village (Owukpa) to be precise in the early sixties to seventies and the lgb0s started dispossessing them of their entitlements in their own land so they went on communal war with the lgb0s and drove back into Enugu across the river. If they had not done that those years, they would have stripped them of their lands and u will tag it lgb0 community that was made part of Benue. I know Utonkon or somewhere like that is made up of lgb0s and these are lgb0s who migrated mostly from Ebonyi. In the future, u will claim it as lgb0 community. The lgb0s overrun ldoma lands while trampling on them and they keep quiet claiming to be peaceful, if u go to Otukpo which is a town today, it is overrun by lgb0s who has little or no regard for the Idomas. In a nutshell, those communities stripped the Idoma and Igede of their lands and possessed it like the average lgb0 will do in any part of the country if given the chance. 4 Likes 4 Shares |

ednut1:Igbo do to others what they cry it's being done to them. When they call others minority, it's music to their ears. But when the majority treat them as minority, they cry to high heaven. If you see how igbos treat Igala and muslim minority amongst them, then you'd know what they'd do if they had the power of the north and SW. 1 Like 1 Share |

KwuoteYourFada:Ask the Igala in Anambra. One Enugu man was appointed recently by Tinubu, we heard he's of Igala clan from the east, and igbo rejected him. How do you people treat the muslims from the east? They're threatened and rejected or called offensive names. Some of your stupid brothers come here to even deny their existence. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ValarDoharis:You won't know about a credible source if u are not exposed. I mentioned the names of those towns and villages on purpose, if u care so much about source, u can go there and confirm. It's not diffuser since u care so much about source right? Better still, engage different Benue people on different platforms with these stories who are connected to the places I mentioned and they will tell u. Most African stories are not documented, someone who attended basic school should know this already. The Fulani expedition in Benue started since 2013, but if u go to the internet, u will see most source tagging it as 2015. That's what u call source? You need expósure and internet exposure is not enough, u need proper exposure. |
