Frankly, nature hates a vacuum. It is very natural for things to fill it immediately when there is a space devoid of matter.

This is just the way time is. Once you don't plan your time and life very well nothing is left idle. That space must be filled with activities that may or may not be your own doing.

So, if you are not studying at the time you have allocated to it, that time can never be left idle, something must fill that space. Before you know what is going on, the Diet has ended and exams will be knocking at your door.

What I am simply saying is that when you don't study on a daily basis, something else replaces that time and as the law of diminishing returns applies in your studies, you will forget what you read weeks ago.

It is the reason you want to study and you will say let me just check something on social media. Before you know what is going on, time has gone.
