I have been to Fathala wildlife reserve in 2009 and thank God this stick did not exist then, or was not offered to me. I came down for rhino and giraffe but I stayed in the truck for the lions. I can't come and kill myself

No it’s not magic or juju. Those cats are under the influence of drugs. Some tourist authorities do that to dangerous wild animals so tourists could pay and take photos. It’s not only in Senegal that this is done.

The stick is added so people like you would marvel at ‘African wonder’
