Why is it that military coups are mostly organised and carried out by Army officers alone?
Like I have never heard that a military coup was headed by a Naval or an air force general. Is it that Navy and air force officers are more civil than their army counterpart? Or that the orientation of army officers is different from those two? What's your take on this?

Army is land based... So most activities of coup are done on land ..
Although it's the agreement of the whole defense (military), it's carried out by the Army .....

Just like how you won't really hear about Army fighting Crude Oil thieves or sea pirates, mainly Naval warfare
