1.People should stop including state creation in the list of achievements. Army rulers can create as many states as they want. Civillans can't because the Constitution...which the army suspends anytime they take power....prevents them from doing so. Same thing for LG areas. 2.IBB also took our debt from about 4 billon USD to 33 billion USD. And messed up our country. |

nairalanda1:The loans he took worth it. Fuel was subsized and projects were executed. The same cannot be said of demonic vultures who are in charge since 2015. |

AntiTerrorist: The fuel subsidy also worsened the state of our refineries then. Plus, I don't like your argument. By the same metric, we can assume that Buhari too took loans that were worth it, since under his rule, fuel was subsidized and yes, projects were executed(eg railways, 2nd Niger bridge, even some road projects, airport renovations, etc).(and as we both know, the economy was bad). (Plus, problem with subsides, they always lead to scarcity. During the last 3 years of the IBB administration, fuel scarcity at the end of the year and even during the year became a thing. That's why one has to sell fuel at market price. It pays for everything including production.). The problem is, at the end, the loans add up. And create issues. Don't defend any Nigerian leader. The more things change in this country, the more they remain the same. 1 Like |
