Omo men....Nigerian banks are facing multiple scams, peaking at 24,232 in the first six months of 2023. This news comes from a report by the FITC, titled “Reports of Fraud and Counterfeiting in India.” Nigerian banks (Q2 2023).

The amount involved is indeed very substantial, totaling 12.33 billion naira during this period. The FITC found that in the second quarter of 2023, it received reports of 71 cases of fraud and counterfeiting from 24 banks.
