Currently there are BAD roads every where,we provide water, power(electricity) for our selves yet we pay taxes to government & we get nothing. In nigeria no pre-plan for anything what soever.and so on,government wants to remove fuel subsidy! so of what POSITIVE EFFECT WILL IT BE FOR OUR PEOPLE? NO BODY wants to PROTEST.WE SUFFER on daily bases, yet no END in sight.Nigerians need to stand up and DEMAND FOR THEIR RIGHTS.In as much as we need DEMOCRACY WE also need a POSITIVE CHANGE.These PRIMARY things like ROADS,POWER,WATER,HEALTH CARE should not ELUDE US.NAIJA PEOPLE PLEASE STAND UP.

the thing is where to stand. i know to organise protest in say kano, sokoto, yola or bauchi is possible. but the moment this should start u hear lagos media started shooting out headlines like NOTHERNERS WANT TO SCUTTLE DEMOCRACY IN NIGERARI B/COS OF JEG! divide and rule is responsible for the siege called tribalism we are in.

@iice, are you sure nigerians are not timid? People can't even stand up for their rights at their workplaces, all they do is grumble.

There's no unity, that's why. How can we stand in one accord when the fragmented state of our society is evident even on NL forums?
