There have been many cases of large trucks and buses falling off bridges along Western Avenue and killing people below in the past 40 years. Commercial buses also cause a lot of traffic jams by using the entrance to the bridges as bus stops. The administration of Governor Bola Tinubu erected truck barriers at the entrance to the bridges in order to stop trucks and buses from using the flyovers (they were to use the road below), but the barriers were removed by NURTW thugs and some truck drivers rammed them with their trucks. The government kept replacing the barriers, but they kept being removed until the government eventually gave up on them. The accidents continued along that route and the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently erected truck barriers again, to prevent the trucks from using the flyovers. It is alleged that this truck tried to use the flyover and collided with the truck barrier and this lead to the leakage. 10 Likes 2 Shares

Im not surprise the truck is owned by Gasland. Like most, if not all Nigerian companies, they only care about profit and nothing else. One should even test the truck driver, to know if he was high on kain kain, or if he is blind, because he can't tell us he didn't see the barrier, or know why the barrier was installed there. Kudos to Lagos state fire service for doing the needful. 👌 27 Likes |

What is causing the leak? Are you sure it's not the PSV that is popping on that truck. Probably, due to overloading? 1 Like |

AllenSpencer: Then they will leave Anambra in South East and take visa to South-south to do bambiala for Delta State to come help them quench fire in Onitsha. If you ask them, they will tell you that Asaba is close to Onitsha as if it is a taboo for Anambra government to station firetrucks in Onitsha. 8 Likes 1 Share |

ShaqFu:why blame the company? The truck driver is guilty of negligence. He saw a barricade but decided to squeeze thru it. This has nothing to do with the company. The driver's attitude is what's wrong with the country. 2 Likes |

Authoreety: Because he is dragging Anambra that Peter Obi ruled for 8 years, you are crying. Peter Obi ruled Anambra for almost a decade and they are still begging Delta state for firetrucks. No wonder those evil forest products called Psquare abandoned their father's house in Anambra and ran to Lagos. 12 Likes 1 Share |

AllenSpencer: Such incident can't happen in Anambra, trust me. Do you know why? Because Anambrarians are very sensible. Our truck drivers in Anambra no fit jam truck barriers wey govt erect. It's only in Lagos that korope and danfo drivers will totally abandon their lane and start driving on the pedestrian walkway. Isn't that madness? 4 Likes |

Nigerians are extremely difficult to govern a lot of them have no respect for constituted authority. See how very limited resources end up being wasted by unnecessary repeated actions taken to save lives. naptu2: 4 Likes |

have now realized why Michael Olise decided to shun Chelsea's offer to remain at Crystal Palace. It is needless to swap one mid table club with another. Some incurable optimistic Chelsea fans, say that we should continue to trust the process. But I ask, which process? There is no process, only chaos. For instance, Todd Boehly and his group, knew before the season started that Christopher Nkunku (the only player that resembles a striker) will be unavailable for almost half the season, yet shortly buying the overpriced Caicedo, he added Lavia, a player of similar profile. Similarly, he bought Palmer despite having Madueke in his ranks. He never deemed it fit to buy a striker. If this is not insanity can anyone tell me what it is. |
