Why does over speeding kill in only in that section of the road? Why on the bridge?

FRSC should always be objective and honest about the primary cause of the accident and the secondary cause.

Overspending could be the primary cause, but what about addressing the secondary cause. The road level and bridge level is too steep for unsuspecting road users. The government should get the contractors to level it up. This is the many reason vehicle skip off into the river.

This is not blaming anyone, this is preventing another one from happening.

The incident was confirmed to newsmen by Mrs Florence Okpe, the Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun.
She said, “The accident occurred around 11:55 am and the suspected cause of the crash was excessive speed and loss of control which made the vehicle plunge into the river.

She also quoted the State Sector Commander of FRSC, Anthony Uga, as describing the crash as avoidable if caution was considered.

The sector commander stated that speed limit violation by motorists, especially the commercial vehicle drivers on that route, was the cause of many road traffic crashes.

Instead of just saying the cause of the accident is being investigated she's starting rumors. It may be DUI ... brake failure ... attempted carjacking ... driver suffered a seizure ... and no doubt excessive speed can't be ruled out. Then there's the sector commander running off her mouth and not knowing she's exposing her incompetence. She knows excessive speeding in that area is the cause of many accidents... what has she done about it? Nothing. I guess she repeats this same line everytime there is an accident. How can we see development if the leaders are not progressive?

Accidents happen suddenly. Many at times, it's shock that kill many victims. Some people wouldn't even be able to think about anything, their mind just becomes blank...
