Could be the container is to be transfered to some bonded terminals thus the delay in clearance.

The price you bought isn't releveant,it is the value customs place on the vehicle to be cleared that is used.

You could buy a car for $2,000 and customs might end of using their own valuation of $4,000.

Let's wait and see what the to be implemented tariff would look like but a rough idea would be an hike of up to 70% of current quotes.

I am sure the "subsidy" scenario generated an even hotter heat yet our darling FGN implemented the removal of the "subsidy"on a 1st January.
If they can do that with what directly affects the whole Nigeria populace,I recon a "mere" hike in customs tariff won't be a problem for them.Abi??
