This is a response to all the compromised and ill-mannered Nigerians writing rubbish as if they are blind to the realities that happened during and after the 2023 Presidential election.

I want to make it clear to you all again that even if Kwankwaso, Obi and G5 Governors remained in PDP and contested against Tinubu, Bola Tinubu would have still be declared as the winner, why and how?

Simply because 2023 Presidential election winner was not announced based on who scored highest number of legitimate votes cast but based on who Buhari, INEC and all the federal government election institute and the Judiciary want to win; and that was anybody holding APC Presidential ticket of which Tinubu inherited. Buhari and APC were not ready to let power slip off their hands to any opposition party just as PDP foolishly did in 2015 out of Atiku and Co's poor political calculation.

So Atiku really wanted to become President and he threw away the best chance he had in 2014 by leading key PDP chieftains out of PDP to help make Buhari a fellow Fulani Muslim the President and same Atiku believed he would become the next President after Buhari that is also a Fulani Muslim? If Atiku had played smart politics like Tinubu in 2014, he would have fully supported Goodluck and after Goodluck was done, it would have definitely fall on his laps, but he destroyed that chance and also destroyed PDP's chance of ever producing President in Nigeria.

Back to Peter Obi matter, if any Nigerian is honest enough to say the truth, he or she will agree with me that Peter Obi inspired new set of voters all over Nigeria that never voted before in previous election years.

Even though Peter Obi took away PDP's traditional Southeast and Southsouth votes, Peter Obi's bulk vote didn't come from PDP's traditional voters, in fact, Peter Obi brought in a new set of voters all over Nigeria that has never voted before 2023.

Take it or leave it, Peter Obi is the legitimate winner of 2023 Presidential election, his only crime was that he is Igbo, and there is still conspiracy and fear among the Northern ruling class about an Igbo person becoming Nigeria's President; they feel such a person will most likely undo some decades long impediments they put in place against Igbos in Nigeria's national politics, economic and other vital issues, and may also end up dividing Nigeria (something an average Northerner and Southwesterner fear the most about Igbos producing President, which is a foolish reasoning cos a civilian President alone can't divide Nigeria, talk more of one from the Southeast with lesser number of NASS members).

Peter Obi inherited votes from APC (majority of Osinbajo's supporters voted Obi. Same with Rotimi Amaechi's supporters and some sensible APC supporters who wanted a positive change and fairness in Nigeria's politics, all of them voted for Obi).

Peter Obi inherited votes from enlightened young Nigerians in Southwest and Northeast. Obi brought in new votes from Christians in Northwest, Northeast and Northcentral who never voted for PDP before.

The only thing to be argued is whether Peter Obi got the two-third spread in Nigeria, of which he did if INEC was fair.

Obi's winning margin in Lagos was massively suppressed to the barest minimum, I witnessed this in my estate polling units in Lagos, and an uncle witnessed it during final collation in Lagos, we raised alarm but our voices were silenced by the power of incumbency. Same happened in Benue, Plateau, Rivers (the most shameful of all), Oyo, Ogun, Borno, Sokoto, Bauchi, Taraba, etc.

Nigerian youths especially and many Christians voted for Peter Obi en masse.

All through the years of PDP, they never won Lagos, Peter Obi won Lagos all thanks to Nigerian youths and the Christian voters Obi rallied and inspired within a couple of months.

You guys should bury this nonsense ideology that why Tinubu won was because PDP was divided, its not the truth. Tinubu did not win and he knows it. Tinubu won simply because he planned well for the past many years by capturing Lagos state funds which he used very well to plant political mercenaries and bought loyalists from different regions cos in Nigeria, whoever throws money around gets things easily than those that don't, which is why Nigeria will never advance beyond where it is as a nation cos we worship money, and our politics is hugely determined by moneybags and incumbent President.

Tinubu utilized Lagos state treasury he captured since 1999 very well by using the enormous Lagos treasury to plant political loyalists all over Nigeria and in key positions who then came through for him by delivering him illegally not minding the consequences.

INEC noticed that the election result was going against Tinubu, they blocked result upload to iREV from polling units to enable them revert to manual collation which is the easiest way to rig election result in Nigeria.

If INEC had remained neutral, Bola Tinubu would have been thrashed. The 3rd position INEC gave Peter Obi was actually Tinubu's position and Tinubu and his inner circle knows this bitter truth. Let them enjoy their stolen mandate, we are only praying and hoping on God Almighty the only upholder of true justice to do what is just and right at His own set time.

I strongly believe that it is not yet uhuru for Tinubu and all his rigging cohorts, they know what they did, they know they cheated Peter Obi simply because he is Igbo and I know God that ruleth in the affairs of man will definitely serve true justice when the time comes.

PEPT JUDGMENT OF YESTERDAY WAS A GLOBAL DISPLAY OF JUDICIAL CORRUPTION

Let me ask, what does Nigeria's judiciary and their highest bidder Judges really want?

Atiku Abubakar instituted the case of Shettima's double nomination before the general election, what did the Judges ruled? Judges called Atiku busy body and also fined Atiku 10million naira for wasting their time.

Atiku instituted the same case at the tribunal, those highest bidder Judges said it is a pre-election matter.

Emeka Nwajuba, one of APC's Presidential Primary contestants instituted this same eligibility case at the federal high court before the general election but it was dismissed as lacking in merit.

PDP also instituted it as a pre election matter but it was dismissed and the Judge rebuked PDP for being a busy body and poke nosing into APC Internal matter.

But let us all remember that APC's Governorship candidate in Bayelsa, David Lyon's deputy case was instituted by the PDP and David Lyon was removed as the winner of that election because of this same invalid nomination.

What does Nigeria's Judiciary really want? I ask again

Rubbish talk

From the get go Tinubu supporters where saying it's only atiku they feared after they scaled through their party nomination hurdle

Buhari was apolitical eventually when tinubu outsmarted him, even then he still used emefile to stop tinubu.

At no time was buhari favourably disposed to using machinery to work for tinubu

Apc supporters had always insisted they would win only because pdp was split.

Atiku proved himself to be the right choice for pdp, we can now see you fight with your strongest weapon when it's against a sitting party in power before talking of zoning and equity trash. (Obi should know better now).

Atiku justified his position by giving tinubu a bloody nose up north which was the game plan, obi only collected pdp traditional southern votes which is not a miracle of any kind when the people engage emotions

It was the failure of obi to see that presidency is not a fairytale for babies but about strategies, same thing apc did in 2015 to defeat incumbent by going for strongest candidate in most populus region (north)

There was a video where obi was forcing himself to shake atiku and atiku ignored him, I guess he was still thinking he did the right thing and the gamble would pay off in the courts he naively believed in.

By now his total naiveness is now staring him in the face he is ashamed to talk to his obidients, the so called Mandela vibes don fizzle out

If shame allows him to near politics again he would calmly be watching from the sidelines so that his naiveness doesn't run off again to indirectly enthrone the apc he hates

Tinubu did not win anything, How on earth would the judges even excuse INEC boss from obeying his summon and also INEC from providing the requested documents to the parties involved. I was surprised to hear them say that INEC was right not to have given them access to some materials since Inec themselves were a party to the case and you can't give your opponent the needed information to defeat you. This is so ridiculous .

No election case that INEC is never a party to, by the way, the materials in inec possession are public property, they are under obligation to make available any public property in their possession.
Even the tune of the judgement is all according to APC line of argument and there unsubstantiated references.
Same tribunal said that LP did not state the polling stations or states but the ones they mentioned were not even given consideration to. How earth was INEC inability to read what they uploaded online not queried.

Anyways, It was predicated, when PDP was doing their own, they never thought that a day like this will come. life goes on ,

Peter Obi this, Peter Obi that. PDP fears you. APC dread you like a plague. They have legitimised their electoral criminally. God knows why He allows it - perhaps for reasons best know to him.

And INEC a supposed neutral electoral umpire decided to side the party it helped to legalised their electoral criminally. The ripple effects of this brazen injustice is gonna consume everyone involved in it.

1. The problem we have is that, we take our eyes of the things that matter and hope after every 4 years.

When the legislators begin to amend the Constitution or Electoral Act, we don't care until the implementation starts, we start complaining.

The issue of nomination, sponsorship, membership and leadership tussle are exclusively internal affairs of a Political Party, in this the Courts have only limited jurisdiction.

These also are pre-election matters.

No Party has any business prying into the affairs of another Party with respect to how they conduct their primaries let alone nominate their Candidates.

When the Supreme Court gives a decision, other Courts must kowtow.

Do not forget, yesterday APC cross-appealed wrt the nomination of Obi whose name was not in the membership register of the LP as at when the election was conducted. However, it was on the same proviso of locus standi that it was also dismissed.

2. In the case of Nwajiuba, the Courts have always said it that you must be an aspirant to challenge the Primary of the so-called winner. For you to be an aspirant, you must have satisfied all the Conditions set out by your Party, buying of forms, screening, and on the said day of the election, you have to be accredited to participate in the same Primary.

It is clear that Nwajiuba bought forms, was screened and cleared and on the day of the Primary, he didn't show up. He wasn't accredited and didn't participate, hence he had no locus standi to institute that suit. (See Eze v PDP, Onyebuchi Chukwu v Umahi, Dotun Babayemi v Adeleke)

Section 84(14) of the Electoral Act 2022:
Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act or rules of a political party, an aspirant who complains that any of the provisions of this Act and the guidelines of a political party have not been complied with in the selection or nomination of a candidate of a political party for election, may apply to the Federal High Court for redress.

The word an aspirant means that only someone who participated in the primaries of that party can so challenge. Did Nwajiuba or Atiku participate in the primary of the APC?
The obvious answer is NO.

But let us all remember that APC's Governorship candidate in Bayelsa, David Lyon's deputy case was instituted by the PDP and David Lyon was removed as the winner of that election because of this same invalid nomination.

What does Nigeria's Judiciary really want? I ask again
3. On the issue of David Lyon, with all due respect, Peoples Gazette was wrong.

Lyon and the Degi were not issues of nomination, valid or invalid. These were issues that bothered on his chameleonic changing of names on his certificates and false declaration on his Form CF001.

The PDP challenged that by virtue of Section 31(5) of the Electoral Act 2010:

Any person who has reasonable grounds to believe that any information given by a candidate in the affidavit or any document submitted by that candidate is false may file a suit at the Federal High Court, High Court of a State or Federal Capital Territory against such person seeking a declaration that the information contained in the affidavit is false.

However, Section 31(5) of the Electoral Act 2010 has now been amended, to its present form in Section 29(5) of the Electoral Act 2022.

Vexed by that decision of Lyon, the APC legislators and their PDP enablers did their home work whilst we slept.

Section 29(5) now reads:
Any aspirant who participated in the primaries of his political party who has reasonable grounds to believe that any information given by his political party’s candidate in the affidavit or any document submitted by that candidate in relation to his constitutional requirements to contest the election is false, may file a suit at the Federal High Court against that candidate seeking a declaration that the information contained in the affidavit is false.

It is clear from the foregoing that this is the present LAW.
