The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has said that given the current rate of capital expenditure, it would take approximately 300 years to bridge Nigeria’s infrastructure gap. https://nairametrics.com/2023/09/08/it-may-take-300-years-to-bridge-nigerias-infrastructure-gap-sec/ |

Let the Oil dry up today and this narrative will change. Only fools still believe there is a country. The North and West will continue to rape us until there is no juice left in us again. If your business is domiciled in the North and West and you are not from those regions then you must go for a brain examination. You can have your business anywhere but ensure it is not domiciled in the region where you are not from. I don't know when my people will wake up and wise up. They have not only succeeded in taking away our natural resources as well as our common sense? Haba! South South people if not for PDP don't even have a common front. Where is that common front? Certain things one cannot say. Can an Igbo man be the general overseer of some of those things you call churches in the West? Can a Yoruba man be the market Chairman of Onitsha market? AGENDAS and hidden agendas everywhere. No, we don't have a country yet. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Normal. Try look US and look at Nigeria then tell me how long you'll catch up. Look at a typical German neighborhood then look at Nigerian disorganized housing structure. But with adequate economic growth and increase revenue generation we can catch up with less time. Nigeria needs a budget of atleast 200tn yearly to catch up within the next 25 years.... With 200trn annual budget , those ugly makoko slum, those open gutters, those erosion degraded Street roads will turn to London in less than 10yrs. All na money 1 Like |

Simeonjoe1: Even with a 800 trillion naira annual budget with leadership fixated on benefitting from corruption, no much change. 2 Likes |

Mindlog: Very much will change, in fact multiply corruption x100 and give the politicians 800trn my guy Nigeria will change in the next 5 years. We overblown corruption in this country too much, probably due to our low mental strength in scrutinizing financial audit, project implementation and utilization |

motayoayinde:China doesn't vote rubbish out of tribalism. Infrastructure is sited where it can make profits but Nigeria built rail in a region where it can't generate enough money for fuel |

Mindlog: Give my home state this allocation in 1999 and see wonders. Even Lagos annual budget in 1999 isn't up to 20bn naira. Inflation cut across board... |

Simeonjoe1: Are you talking about 200trn budget for prayers for our awesome politicians to share and take care of there families and concubines and sugar boys, and buy bullet proof cars and foreign accounts and foreign citizenship by investments, and massions abroad or what? Aren't we cursed of a country..when in this world will it be right with this country? |

Simeonjoe1: It's you that's basking in low mental strength and is out of touch with the very tangible reality, your superfluous estimation and your uphoria budgeting proposal is just fictional. You don't live in Nigeria that's why a Z generation kid like you who lives in a conducive and functional society will think your proposal will work amidst corruption in this Erebus and you are arguing with someone who is in town to tell you how it's going over here. Please, quit arguing with us bro,May God not let you come back to hustle with us in this Erebus,or else you're a relative of those corrupt agents that has undone the country. |
