Hello everyone, I've been reading up on various satellite internet options and came across several mentions of Starlink. Given the significant investment, I'm particularly interested in user experiences from Nigeria as I plan to download and upload large files frequently for my remote work. Can anyone share their personal experience regarding the reliability and speed of Starlink's service in our region? How does it compare to other internet service providers in terms of consistency during weather disturbances? Any insights on customer support would also be greatly appreciated.

Hi there! I totally get your concern about making sure you choose the right service, especially since consistent internet is crucial for remote work. I've had Starlink for a few months now, and so far, it's been quite reliable. When it comes to speed, I typically see download speeds ranging significantly, sometimes surpassing what I used to get with traditional ISPs. As for upload speeds, they're definitely more than sufficient for hefty file uploads. Regarding your question about weather disturbances, I've noticed some fluctuations during heavy rain, but nothing too disruptive. Importantly, looking at various starlink reviews, many users here seem to share similar sentiments. Their customer support is responsive, but sometimes it takes a couple of tries to resolve more complex issues. Overall, it's a solid choice if you need high-speed internet and other local ISPs aren't cutting it.
