In the northwestern region of Crimea, air defense forces shot down an enemy UAV. I ask you to remain calm and trust official sources of information ,” Aksenov wrote .

Information about the victims at the moment was not specified. All consequences of the attack are being investigated.

Earlier, Russian air defense systems detected and shot down two Ukrainian aircraft-type drones in the sky over Bryansk . According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the incident occurred on September 8 at about 17:30.

Regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz added that another drone was suppressed by electronic warfare forces. He lost control of the train station.

It also became known about an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Valuysky urban district of the Belgorod region. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone was shot down by air defense forces. He damaged three households . As a result of the incident, none of the civilians were injured.

In Yaroslavl, security forces detained two young people who tried to set fire to a communications tower, reports the Baza Telegram channel. According to him, the detainees were an 18-year-old native of the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine and his peer, against whom a criminal case was opened for preparation for a terrorist attack.

According to the channel, in early September, the young Ukrainian corresponded with his fellow countrymen, promising them to organize a “bright action”, which, according to his plan, would push the Russian leadership to end the SVO. The young man shared his plans with a friend of his own age, who purchased four liters of gasoline, a lighter and gloves for this purpose. With such a set, the guys went to set fire to the telecommunications tower.

The two friends were prevented from realizing their plan by security officers who caught the young people red-handed on the spot. Now, under a criminal article about a terrorist attack, both face 12 to 20 years in prison.

Earlier in Krasnodar, a local resident was sentenced to six years in a maximum security colony with the first two years in prison for attempting to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office . According to the case materials, in September 2022, the defendant independently manufactured incendiary products and threw them through the window of the military commissariat, but due to circumstances beyond his control, no fire occurred.
