1 Corinthians 2:9,
“But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’...”

Can you shout a BIG AMEEN!
Now let's start praying blasting in tongues and asking God to shower us with these blessings that no eyes have seen...

Hold up. You know that's a classic example of how we Christians misinterpret the contents of the Scriptures, and miss out the Revelations (understanding) that we should get from a Scripture reading...

We all forget the next verse of that Chapter (aka 1 Corinthians 2:10) which says that, “...God has revealed those things to us through the Holy Spirit...”

For context, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10,
“But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”

What is the balance?
Why do we quote and hold on to verses without reading above and beneath.

Now we know, let's try to be more open whenever we read scriptures.
