Nigerian Afro pop Maestro, BowamJovie has released a hit single, titled Ifeneme (Things are happening).

BowamJovie whose real name is Jovie Ekwunife has in the past collaborated with legends like MC Loph, Smartaman, among others and had also worked with Stanley Okorie on the production of a lot of Nollywood movie sound-tracks, said that the song is about some of the vices happening in the society.

According to him, the society is losing grip on morality as evil is now trying to become the norm.

He said that the values that we treasured in the past are now being taken for granted as profit now weighs more than people and money over moral.

According to him, if we continue on this path, sooner than later, we all would have a huge price to pay for the decadence in the society.

Speaking further, he said that both parents and the church have a big role to play in other to re-orientate the minds of the youths who now see materialism as the only essence of human existence.

According to him, parents should let the youths know that process is far more important than result and that there is even honour in losing.

His words, "The song Ifeneme is my own way of exposing the ills in our society and for us to start doing something about it. Evil is like a fog stealthily covering our society and everybody is pretending as if nothing is happening. The earlier we begin to campaign against all this vices, the better. Nobody should say or feel that it does not concern him or her; all hands must be on deck to eradicate these negative attitudes from our society.
