Why Do Nigerian Businesses Get Customer Service So Wrong? by okonja(m): 6:16pm On Sep 13, 2023 |
Customer service is a critical factor in the success of any business. However, in Nigeria, a higher percentage of businesses have poor customer service. This can be attributed to a number of factors, including: Lack of training: Many businesses do not provide adequate training for their customer service agents. This can lead to agents who are not equipped to handle customer inquiries or complaints effectively. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this issue. What do you think are the main reasons for poor customer service in Nigeria? What can businesses do to improve their customer service? |

Truth! The main reason are our bad Nigerian African up bringing… Our up bring revolves around religion and not core knowledge… So we don’t know how to use our heads.. Some of the workers also got the job through man know man and fuqing… The companies are not smart enuf to put the right people in the right place… We too as Nigerians don’t know our true calling.. I believe some one whose through calling is customer care stuffs we do it well, no matter how they try to do it wrong. The workers are very proud and lack self esteem… The management of such firms are not serious with customer care… The owners of the company are also terrible people.. Nigerian women bring their bad attitude to work. Even some low life males are not exempted… Women are the biggest culprits in that department.. Religion::: It gives us the guts to make stupid mistakes over and over… Juju:: Does same as religion…. E too plenty… Above all I belt most Nigerian rich men did not work very hard to become rich.. They got it via connections, inheritances, stealing, etc.. So they don’t have so much value for the organization… 1 Like |
