Look at the worrying numbers in the SW, a region that once prided itself as the most educated in Nigeria since the Awolowo era, all those legacies have been replaced with brazen agberoism, ethnic fanaticism, thuggery etc 6 Likes |

NwaIdeato: They don’t care. As long as they have the presidency and can taunt igbos with it. That’s enough satisfaction for them. Nothing else matters. 2 Likes |

TongueTwista:Leave him alone. He sees it as the way an average igbo should see it. That's the spirit to use in solving it. It's actually an abomination. There is no excuse for these children not to go to school. Imagine a child not going to school in my place, your kinsmen will do sharp meeting on top your head. Infact, it's 100% impossible. Even one mentally deranged girl/ babe was in primary one till I finished university. Boy go for early 'boi'. One of the criteria, he must finish school. These days a big boy who is a trader without degree is a turn-off. He will eventually do weekend programme. |

NwaIdeato: The prognosis on that region is indicating something terrible in the near future. What is happening in the NW and NE will be a child's play compared to SW in the coming years. Only yesterday, uncountable number of youths died in shagamu in the name of cultism fights. What about skull miners, Yahoo boys, drug pushers and junkies etc. Omo, I see no way out now a drug lord has emerged as president. That region is gone! |
