If Tinubu likes, he can appoint his ethnic group to head all the financial institutions in Nigeria and if possible all the commercial banks, Naira will continue to fall as Nigeria continues to fail and fail.

No be swear, you cant plant nepotism and expect to reap growth and success.
yes Nigeria will fall and fail your life but Nigeria will shine and rise in my life … what you wish for your country is what you wish for yourself. I believe no matter what Nigeria will always and forever favour me

President Tinubu do something fast to revitalize the economy. Roll out policies, programs and incentive packages to encourage SMEs and industrialization. The economy need to be production-driven than consumption-driven as it is presently. We need to deliberately export more than we import.

Which Tinubu are u talking to? Is it the one on nairaland?

So up till now nigeria hasn't shone and risen in your life since u have been wishing such for Nigeria?

Is it the bad wishes of Nigerians towards nigeria that is making naira to fall and making go backwards?

It is the duty of every Nigerian to sustain a stable economy. Government can certainly provide the framework. Imagine what the uproar would be today if government should ban the importation of ketchup, liquor and other jagbajantis Obi import to stock his next to nothing retail operation.
There are thousands like this who doesn't contribute anything significant to the economy but they cry the loudest.

You are still complaining of Peter Obi but you will never mention Dangote who has monopolised and crippled the economy of Nigeria because you fear the North more than you love yourself...

Cement as of today sells at #6200 per bag, and he is on the fore front to have a refinery in Nigeria as a whole Federal Government don't have the capacity to bring one out of the three we have into shape, because of nepotism and corruption in the government sector....

Rather, the same Government you are defending will prefer to partner with Dangote groups to give Nigeria a hope for a Refinery....

Peter Obi is an importer who pays his import duties to the government of Nigeria.
The same you and your propaganda team used Propaganda to say he doesn't pay his taxes, but when he brought it , you all went dumb ...lols

If Government is handled by corrupt and nepotic individuals who prefers gathering of brethren than providing for the masses, then you are of all miserable to demand any good thing from such a Government...

This isnt about wish anymore...Nigeria has failed and every sensible person knows this.

And so you know, my life isnt tied to Nigeria anymore. I am already out of that failed country.

You want to compare Dangote's contributions to the Nigerian economy with Obi's contributions!
This must be a joke taken too far. Dangote brings dollars to the economy, Obi take dollars and brings ketchup and liquor and other rubbish.
There's no comparison at all.

Container folks should keep quiet when dollar issues are being discussed, except if you bring in raw materials for your industrial use.
If you bring in shoes and liquor and ketchup like most Container folks, sorry. You shouldn't get a dime.

That's not true. They are accessing the same market with it's attendant inflation, and their money kept in the bank in naira in Nigeria is losing value as well.
It favour them to an extent. £1 is around #1,200 that alone can give someone a meal in Nigeria and £1 is useless to them over there. Just £4 will comfortably buy a bag of cement in Nigeria, whereas you can hardly get any reasonable thing with £4 over there. Abroadians are always happy with the exchange rate. I understand there will be inflation in the country with high exchange rate

£1 is not useless to them - it takes blood and sweat to earn it. And you should be concerned with what is left after paying bills, then they send the money home to access the same market.

It pays no one. It is an illusion if you feel they have an advantage.

They absolutely do. I live in Lagos and most sophisticated building in my area are owned by abroad base Nigerians. In every 10 building in my area, 8 is owned by abroadians. I mean sophisticated building that when you see you'd wish to own it.

I know they work to have £1 but that cannot get them anything over there just as #1 is useless to us here.

This is the main problem. This should be a reason to protest.

But the Nigerian youths are now allowing themselves to be distracted by Naira Marley's

When you see Politicians showing sudden sympathy, just know that they stand to profit something in whatever way.

Why can’t the country refine its own crude? That way, we do not need oil marketers to be putting pressure on the forex to import fuel. With this, there will be more than enough dollars which will reduce the demand and push up the power of the naira.. any government that has not addressed this issue is not sincere cause now I hear Dangote will still be looking for the scarce dollar to import crude when we are suppose to have the crude here without him giving other countries our scarce dollars to import what we are suppose to have

Not this crop of presidents.

If Jona couldn't revitalise 3 refineries and make it work.

No president can do it.
