Randy Awolowo, former vice-chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa and some of his former councillors; today, defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The former vice-chairman and his councillors met with the APC gubernatorial candidate of Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva, at the party chairman's residence in the state capital.
