2to3oddsboss:You circus clowns simply refuse to understand that Saudi league ain't no EPL, La Liga or Serie A. Neither is MLS. Both Saudi and MLS are crap leagues,, and Ronaldo and Messi took big demotions to play in those leagues. They are both technically retired and are pensioners... But the difference is this; Messi retired there on a high high, winning the Ligue 1 and conquering the World Cup with a Golden Ball esq performance. Ronaldo on the other hand flopped for Man U and Portugal got benched serially for both teams and left top football on a low low low. That's the difference... One left European football into "pensioneer" on a high high high, the other left European football into "pensioneer" on a low low low. Let's cut this MLS, Saudi comparison, the are both pensioners now. 2 Likes |

2to3oddsboss:Pls use your punctuations so I could understand exactly what you're talking about. "Your writing hurts me?" I swear the only way I would ever be hurt again in a Messi, Ronaldo debate is if Ronaldo somehow wins 1 World Cup and 2 more Ballon dor's before he quits the game. Aswear down! 1 Like |

alabo1:That is for you. For me there is no such thing as Messi and Ronaldo being the greatest ever. The greatest ever is Messi.... Then Pele and Maradona come next in no particular order. Cristiano Ronaldo should make top 10. |

VICTOR OSHIMEN DESERVES AFRICA'S BEST PLAYER PRIZE The football circuit in Africa today, is replete with talents across the continent with Nigeria home to an abundance of sporting talents across the board but sadly Nigeria’s football team is no longer on the commanding heights of the game where the country was regarded as the giant of Africa…The African Player of the Year award was last won by a Nigerian Nwankwo Kanu after producing likes of Victor Ikpeba, Rashidi Yekini, and Emmanuel Amunike, previous winners of the title the decline of Nigeria’s football began with the intrusion of poor and deficient soccer administrators who hijacked the Nigerian sporting federations notably the Nigerian Football Federation mostly especially in the year 2000s. European club sides On rare occasions, hardly feature Nigerian soccer players due to the decline in the quality of Nigerian players in the sport.  In the race for the trophy, the major contestant will be Riyah Mahrez of Algeria presently plying his trade with Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia who won the treble with Manchester City last season. Our piece will dwell on the recent form and exploits of  Victor Oshimen who joined Napoli Fc of Italy from French side Lille on a record transfer fee and going to score 31 goals in the highly competitive Italian league thus ending the season top scorer in the Serie A… Oshimen has gone ahead to win the Italian league with Napoli FC after 33 years, playing a vital role in that amazing feat which then Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona had done previously. Victor Oshimen started his playing career in Nigeria’s domestic league thereafter featuring for Nigeria’s U-17 side later he played for Wolfsburg FC in Germany, later joined Belgium’s Charleroi, Lille of France joined Napoli Fc in an African transfer record of 70 million euros…He is today regarded as Africa’s top goal poacher in Europe with his pace, dazzling ability, and very deft goalscoring prowess sharing a sticking resemblance with legendary Rashidi Yekini… Osimhen made his official senior debut for Nigeria in a 2–0 defeat against South Africa on 10 June 2017. He missed out on Nigeria's 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign after his inconsistent season at Wolfsburg. Following a successful start to his loan spell at Charleroi, he was recalled by Gernot Rohr for the November 2018 international break, starting their friendly win over Uganda. In March 2019, Osimhen was released from the Super Eagles squad to represent the Nigerian U23 side as they were two goals down against their Libyan opponent. He scored three goals in the return match against Libya in Asaba. Osimhen was listed in coach Gernot Rohr's 25-man provisional list for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt and was further listed in the final list for the tournament. In the match for third place, he replaced the injured Odion Ighalo at half-time in the team's 1–0 victory over Tunisia. He played a total of 45 minutes at the tournament. The Super Eagles ended the 2021 AFCON qualifiers on a high, beating Lesotho 3–0. However, Osimhen missed the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations supposedly due to COVID19 as claimed by his club. This claim provoked a response from a sports lawyer in Nigeria who wrote to express his dismay at the alleged intention of Osimhen's club side, Napoli, to deprive Nigeria of the services of their star striker. The Napoli owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, angered many Africans when he said he would no longer sign African players unless they agreed to sign a waiver to not participate in the AFCON. Osimhen started the qualification for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers in sparkling form helping Nigeria win both of their first two matches. Osimhen netted a goal against Sierra Leone and another four goals in a 10–0 win against São Tomé and PrÃncipe. Osimhen's super hat-trick was his first senior international hat-trick for the Super Eagles. In the reverse fixture played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on 10 September 2023, Osimhen scored his second international hat-trick in Nigeria's 6–0 win against São Tomé and Principe, finishing the 2023 AFCON qualifiers as top scorer with 10 goals. Indeed Super Eagles Star Victor Oshimen deserves the coveted African best player trophy that has eluded Nigeria for so long a time
