Job Title: Solar Engineer/Installer

Reports to: Technical Coordinator, Project

Job Summary

The Solar installer/technician, is responsible for the assembling and installation of solar PV racking systems, mount solar panels, inverter and energy storage system.

Main Responsibilities

The role is varied in its nature and will include working on a range of PV projects. Your responsibility will include:

Responsible for the installation of photovoltaic systems, inverters and energy storage system
Fastening aluminum racking systems to support the solar modules.
Handling and fastening of solar modules
Maintain a well-organized and safe work environment.
Attention to detail when completing tasks.
Assist with setup and tear down of job sites.
Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety procedures & policies.
Participate in and coordinate a clean job site.
Other ad hoc activities as and when required
Desired Qualifications

Required: Ability to work at Heights
Required: Ability to travel across the country.
Ability to safely lift and carry 50lbs and over on a frequent and repetitive basis.
Previous experience and knowledge of solar PV, inverter systems and energy storage are considered
an asset.

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to function seamlessly in a team and independently
Work comfortably on construction sites in various weather conditions and environments.
