Leave Nigeria while you can, very soon it would be almost impossible to leave Nigeria. At present it's harder than 2years ago not even 10years ago. To pay your own school fees, sth that before if u walked to any bank of ur choice get form A, write school account number in less than 1 week it's sent, now to pay ur fees if u use form A, it would take 6months with fasting and prayers before the school attempts to see the money, by that time it's already late. To even get passport problem. U would be having second thought until u get locked in. 1 Like |

The trap or and continued exploitation and dependency that the Indo-European axis is preparing for the black/African future will most satisfactorily be checked by Nigeria if Nigeria y worked with the Chinese. |

HBB1:You haven't said anything meaningful. It looks like you failed step1? How many Naija-trained doctors do you know β¦ who passed their USMLE 1 straight from Naija?? None. Your feelings are not facts. UWI, the largest govt-owned university system in the carribean, produces better qualified doctors than Naija. Their USMLE1 pass rate is at par with Private Unis affiliated with US schools and financiers.

PublicHealthNig:I am not surprised. Our Education has been bastardised and quality eroded. Strikes upon strikes by university teachers. Sometimes prolongs up to a year. The government pays lip service to quality education. And what do you expect when a square peg is put in a round hole. Adamu Adamu, a known Journalist was in the saddle as Education Minister for 8yrs. Throughout, his tenure, education standard pummelled. Started falling. University teachers and personnel were owed salaries. Research grants were not given utmost attention. Buhari, a near illiterate soldier, as President never cared. He surrounded himself with barely literate advisers who don't know the import of education but hallucinates more on Islamic education and children marriages. Nigeria became a huge joke. Education collapsed. Sleaze and misdemeanor took center stage. Under this season of anomie, how do you expect our university products to be taken seriously. Therein lies the Canadian snub of our Doctors in preference to India Doctors. Blame our politicians for the mess we find ourselves! 2 Likes |

Understand that Whites never forget and always consider thire own however obscure. Look at the Text below, as a person of African decent; mull over history in relation to Europe, now think of the future as an unbroken story. Text: Indo-European refers to a major language family that includes a wide range of languages spoken across Europe, Asia, and parts of the Indian subcontinent. It is one of the world's largest language families and encompasses languages like English, Spanish, Hindi, Russian, and many others. The term "Indo-European" signifies the linguistic and historical connection between these languages, suggesting that they share a common ancestral language from which they evolved over millennia. This language family has played a significant role in shaping the cultures and societies of the regions where its languages are spoken. . |

BigIyanga: You are daft! How many Nigerians do I know that have passed USMLE? π€£ 1. I personally know at least 10, who are working in the US. ...and they schooled in Nigeria. 2. Passing USMLE does not mean you will match. This is another process altogether. 3. The Carribean Schools train their students as a conduit into the American system. So it is not about someone being smarter than others. I know Nigerians who went to take up assistant lecturer roles in Grenada, and they were all expected had to write USMLE. 4. There was a year in OAU, when chemical pathology exam questions were lifted from USMLE exams... Those boys still passed! 5. Is passing USMLE the yardstick for medical competence? So British, or German Drs are not competent because they did not write USMLE. 6. Can you see that your brain is paining you? 1 Like |

Masterito: Pay well? Doctors are amongst the highest paid civil servant in Nigeria. When as a coper we were paid 3k monthly by the state, doctor were paid 80k. Medical education in our universities are almost free as compared to the actual cost of the education. Some private universities in Nigeria pay as high as 4m per year for medical education. 1 Like |
