This stadium is one of the practical evidence of bad project implementation by fantastically corrupt Ifeanyi Okowa, let him be brought to see the bad job he did for Deltans after squandering Billions of Naira. The stadium is unsafe,this is not the first time we will have a case of collapsed structure or furniture in that unsafe stadium.

Why did they not protest these conditions by demanding immediate improvement or not participating in the games and returning to their State? This is the way to make changes..... action speaks louder than words.

I'm just seeing Nigeria, Nigeria everywhere, 'technically' leaving out the main culprits.

Delta State government organised a competition for the youths but no one has condemned the organisers for not carrying out an inspection of the entire facility and doing maintenance where necessary.

It'd be great if we call out Nigeria when unpalatable news or things happen in all other states since we don't want to hold people responsible for their wrongs. At least, it would have shown that we all speak in one mind.

Gov. Sherrif should be commended for inviting Julius Berger to delta this is the first time Berger will be working in delta state since it's creation I don't understand why former governors only used mediocre constructing companies to execute their jobs? The uyo stadium that was built by Julius Berger few years ago is still there without any negative stories of any section of the stadium collapsing.
