The following tips will be very helpful . They are:
(1).Get a reliable Tutor, who you can get to talk to during your leisure
(2). Strictly follow the instructions of the Tutor,as the IELTS examination like most English Examinations is rule governed.
(3).After solving a Practice test, don't rush to the next one. Go through the test again to identify your mistakes. If after the review yiu still fail to understand, ask your tutor salient questions.
(4). Always ensure that you study under Examination condition. Most people make the mistake of not focusing when studying for IELTS. They either check notifications while studying, see a movie, or even discuss while at it.
(5).The best way to master Writing skills is to master the band 8 Writing structures for different question types, and build idea bank.
